:( *sniffle* When my brother had his kid, he got rid of his comics because he had no more room in the house for them (and he needed the money). Must... not... become... like... that...

LOL. Hang tough.

Now you'll have an excuse to buy all that cute Spidey stuff that is out there in abundence... that is, if you are having a boy.

Although... I was in the drugstore last year and witnessed a couple of little girls trying on Spider-man sunglasses. They were cute and certainly into Spidey.

My husband suggested we do that even if it was a girl. :) As much as love Spidey, it would be hard to explain to the in-laws. They've got Pooh on the brain. When you live in Orlando, like I do, it's kinda hard to get excited about anything Disney, even if the in-laws think it's the bee's knees since they live 800 miles away.

Don't give in to the insanity, say no to Disney!!! Lol, that said , I had painted a baby Roadrunner on my kids wall when my first son was born. Maybe I shoulda did Peter Porker or something instead.

Spidey rules

My Freshman year of Highschool (01-02) I bought it around January of '02, since I knew the spidey movie was coming out in a few months. At the time I believe it was around $1.98 to $2.50. And I had taken a class where we learned about the stock market and I knew since that stock is based on merchandising, marvel is known for bleeding any character dry, I went with my gut and invested all of my money on it.

My parents freaked out though :(:down
