Relisted again!! Man, he just doesn't get it!!!

Think Im gonna buy it now and not pay him!

That's a perfect idea..

Bid, don't buy it, and leave negative feedback saying it's fake.

If bay contacts you, just tell them you were made aware with outstanding proof that the mask was in fact a fake, and not as he advertised in the auction.

It's a win/win situation, even if bay for some reason lets him re-list it again, no one will ever bid on it with that feedback.

I've been messing with him through various questions about the mask. And for each of those questions, he's made up some of the most un-educated answers I've ever heard from a liar.

Ebay has been a hobby of mine for a little over a decade now, and I've got a few contacts who might be able to shut down his fake mask auctions for good. No promises, but he might just be gone after we've all had our sick fun with him :-)

I was going through some pictures today and came across this one from Halloween a few years ago.

Pirate Spidey was a HIT!

Classic Spider-Man suit of course! He made that suit for me. Will post pics when I get.

Whoooa that's so perfect. Perhaps since I provided the idea for the eyes I should get a complementary classic suit?

only kidding.

(unless you agree)

Question for the guys that do the urethane webbing suits. What do you use to make the web have that metal shimmer look? Ive heard of using graphite, but has anyone found a paint that would work and stretch with the urethane?

The paint used at any Car Body shop is the best. It is actually stretchy and rubbery, until you spray lacquer(?) over it to harden and give it a shine.
Whilst working for 6 months at one, my boss told me how he sprayed some leather car seats with car paint and they were fine (and survived fine under the strain).
You also get to be as fussy as you like with the shade. It has to be extremely accurate to match a repaired car.
Just find your nearest shop and ask them in the same way you'd ask for new tyres, exhaust etc, they'll be happy to help

I actually have a can of car paint (not the right color, but good for a test) and tryed it, but it doesnt seem like it will hold up to that kind of stretch. Does it have to have a flex agent in it for like rubber bumpers and stuff like that? Has anyone else used this method for coloring the webs? Just dont want to spend a grip of money on car paint for it not to work.

Contact a paint supplier or specialty art store around you... they my be able to whip something up for you.

I know Schuurkes had to get his paint through a special order request with a paint factory.. so it was pretty pricey and he didn't like to sell it individually because it would be like $50 for a couple tiny 1oz hobby jars just to make it worth his time..

Hello,
I'm selling my '70s style spidey costume which was made by Margaret Waite. The boots, gloves and hood are all one piece and has the zipper going across the back of the shoulder. Will fit anyone around 5'10" and around 145-150lbs. Here is a link to a picture of the suit. If interested please PM me for more details and pictures.
