Brad.

:wow:WOOOW:wow: That looks Hot Brad..Your suits now are like the best and only perfect Spidey Replica out there (too bad Ollie is going to be missing out :woot:)..Your Web Molds are the perfect color and look way better than the first Urethane Webbing suit you made a while back, The Chest Spider also has the Perfect shade Color and shape..The Frames look even better the way you Aternated them. The Lenses well Maybe is you add alittle shade to them with airbrush that would finish the job but other than that Brad Nice job man. Dam! I cant wait to purchase mine...LOL.

:wow::wow:Dam this suit is Hot Masked Rider:wow::wow: I like the Lenses too they look Nice..Oh Yeah :csad: You know it doesnt really look that Bad unless you have to really fix it all the time to make sure every piece of the entire suit is in its proper place which in this case you would.. The Webs look like there are hangging hangging off of the suit on your left elbow in the first photo although some of these photos dont look that bad either.. You said the Person was 5'8 and too big for him..Let me think im 5"9 but I dont think 1 inch would make a difference? NOOOOO :csad: My spidey Days are over.

Hey masked rider... just curious whats all those dark spots on these lenses??

This suit could have been sewn a little tighter if I'd had the wearer measurements, BUT I could not alter the length of the webbing or size of the suit across the shoulders. To be safe I'd say my webbing would fit 5"10' to 6"2'.. on someone smaller it would bunch up.

Looks like glue blotches on the eye lenses.

Brad I know you said that your molds are a one size only..But isn't there a way that you could make smaller molds for shorter people..LOL (It sound kinda silly me saying that)..How come other Suitmakers were or are able to make Smaller Molds for Shorter people?..Your suits are so freaken awsome I am whilling to pay you $4000 to get my hands 2 of them..it makes no sense for me to purchase one if its not going to fit me :csad:..I know there has to be a way..let me know when you discover that secret on how to create smaller molds..LOL..trust me id be one of your loyal customers.:woot:

There's no secret.. I'd need to get a smaller set of molds cut. Which is an expensive process. I made my current molds to make webbing to fit my suit... and Im 6 foot. If you're really interested email me... and I'll look into getting a smaller set of molds made.

Nice..Ok thanks Brad I will let you know when. I will shoot you an email when Im ready to purchase them.

How does one avoid this? I've been experimenting with making my own mask completely by hand, but I can't seem to finish a set of lenses without having the same thing happen to me. No matter how carefully I apply it, or how little I use, the glue always ends up where I don't want it.

-.-

I'd say apply less. The less you apply the less glue there is to spread. OR.. use a thicker glue such as Urethane based glue. These glues are thicker, but take longer to cure... OR.. simply dont apply the plastic lense cover. It's not functional anyway.

These pics are awesome! I think I saw Masked Rider's completed suit up on ebay?

Anyways, I was wondering if any of you had a costume with the mask separate?

I'm sure it doesn't look as clean as a costume with the mask attached, but I would love to see how big of a difference it would make regarding the overall appearance.

Also, what would keep the mask and body of the costume aligned once the mask is on? Would you use some sort of hook mechanism? or maybe velcro?

i'm on my third set of back zippers. there is a pair that goes down each side and joins at the back. I'm thinking about having them removed, stitched, and adding a single zipper on the beltline. Any thoughts?

Has anyone here ever made a 5 piece suit before like in the Movie? LOL Just curious to see if any one has ever been able to make one like that before where you have the detachable Mask, detachable boots, detachable pants or tights, then you have the chest piece by itself..LOL that would be cool to see something like that one of these days..but then you would have at least 3 zippers on your suit instead of 1 because you would need 2 for the boots to hold the tights in place with the boots.. which would kinda suck.

Maybe something like this?

Only issue with 1 zipper is if it breaks, you've a lot more to unpick before replacing it. Replacing or sewing it in place is actually quite quick.
