Brad, you NUTTER! that's mental doing the whole suit :lmao:

How's your R.S.I then?

LOL... yep.. I now understand R.S.I. but I took my time. Maybe spent 2 - 3 hrs working on it each time over a few months. Took forever!!! Maybe I am mental..:lmao:

Here's some wrist cylinders I'll mill for the Scarlet suit... I'll work on the Reilly ones next.

Cool, what are they going to be made of? I'm guessing the reilly shooters will be flat cartridge types instead of the cylinders. the ones I made are kind of heavy.

I'll use a soft Urethane. Not sure what they'll weigh.

On another project.... I thought I'd try printing onto solid colour fabrics. Red and Royal. Should work well for the Urethane webbing suit... only more sewing required.

Fabric samples on the left and my normal dye-sub on the right. The royal is a pretty close match... so it should work nicely.

Brad,

The blue will need an entire coat of slightly purple ink, or it will look identical to Shurkkes'
I was going to have a lilac lycra and print the original over it.

Nah.. not identical. My brickwork and shading is different. I've not had any sample printed but I do have 2 metres and red and royal fabric sitting here ready to be sent to the printers. So.. first I'll get some samples printed.

Here's a look at my newest printed with all the brickwork totally re-created. The colours and definition all look much better. New on left.. old on right.

Not one faded brick on the entire suit :)

That's sooooo much better Brad! Really pleased it worked.

but um... the back spider too? lol

YEAH.... Bricks everywhere!!!!!!!..lol. :woot:
You know it doesnt look that bad..it actually looks better, I thought the red color was going to be too bright at first because the way you displayed it by itself.. but now that I see a sample of new suit..the red with Brick pattern actually looks better.

Looks great Brad, wish I had'nt bought that Ollie suit, urethane webs on this print will look outstanding.

This is still just a normal dye-sub on white fabric. Hopefully I'll have some samples on red and blue fabric pretty soon.

Have you started sewing up your new print Brad? I'm curious to see it!

Brad have you had a chance to send that email? I wasn't sure if I'd just looked over it. Thanks

The Suit looks nice but Brad You dont think the colors are alittle off here..The red looks kind of Orange the Blue looks like it doesn't have that much blue in it it looks alittle off like (a second hand print which is a perfect example of what im talking about) also too... Are you planing to keep and use this print for future suit orders or will buyers have a choice as to what print they would like on there suit?

Im happy with the colours. It's very hard to get a nice red with dye-sub. I think my other red had just a little too much maroon to it. I might darken the blue highlights a little but thats about it.

Here's some pics of the Sony suit under different lighting conditions.

I'll use a red fabric and a blue fabric as a base to print my hero suit. That should give truer colours.

Here's another example of how colours look out... The fabric in the bag is solid colour red lycra.

Yeah I guess you are right..Hey Brad are you planning to use these colors for future orders? This new diamond pattern looks nice as apose to the Movie suit where you dont really see the diamond pattern on any portions of the suit except maybe the tights. The only thing that doesnt fit well in this suit you created is the diamond pattern on the back Spider..I guess its because its something different something we are not used to seeing.. Just like in the Superhero Movies where Costume Designers always alternate and do changes on the Superhero costumes to make them look better and people just have to get use to it the first time because its different..Thats what they done with the Batman Movie Costumes, The New Iron Man Armor costume, The Spiderman Movie Costumes, the Superman Movie Costume (You get the point). They are always doing Alternations on them in every single movie I dont see and Understand why.. but then again Its always good to try Something different every once in a while to see what better ideas you can come up next..Who knows maybe one day one of your Spidey Suits will be choosen as the top movie costume for Spiderman (LOL..J/K)..How do you come up with all these cool ideas anyway?
