Ok guys, wanted to make a thread on topic of characters you like to see get used this time around. Or characters who havent seen the light of day yet in the movies.

What characters from family members, love interests, Midtown high/ESU, The Bugle, NYC Police department, horizon/tricorps/parker industries etc........

I'm not sure whether I'd want to introduce Mary Jane first or Gwen Stacey. I think I'd probably say Gwen Stacey first but, to me, that'd only be ideal if they were going down the route of killing her off. Then he could meet Mary Jane.

Personally, I want Gwen Stacey to be killed again. The emotional impact that left on me was huge! I couldn't stop thinking about it when I went home after watching it. However, will they do this? That's the question..

If they don't do that, I'd want to meet Mary Jane first. I liked her in Raimi's trilogy.

What I was really looking forward to seeing was how Peter would move on from Gwen and interact with Mary Jane. Well, I guess now we'll never know what Webb had in mind.

Introduce the whol high school crowd in the first one - Harry, Gwen, Flash, Randy, Liz, Sally, Kenny, etc.. At the end of the movie introduce Gwen like how she was introduced in SSM - May invites her over to be Peter's date, he opens the door, we get the "face it tiger" line. Also introduce the Daily Bugle crew - JJJ, Betty Brant, Ned Leeds, Robbie Robertson, etc.. Maybe Eddie Brock. Ideally I'd open the movie with Spidey stopping de-powered versions of Flint Marko and Alex O'Hirn. Obviously introduce Oscorp too - Norman as head, Octavius working woth him.

In the second movie introduce Felicia as Black Cat, but never have Peter meet her outside of costume. I'd also start the movie with an action sequence of Spidey stopping Vulture.


Most of the school characters won't need huge screentime, but they'll still be present. Just having names from the comics instead of a load of random students would be good.

The idea of opening a film with Spider-Man having a fight with an established comic book villain may be quite cool.
