Spidy's Black Suit Problem

the neckline is always low when the suit is underr normal clothes. i think that in the movie it will be just a suit. it will be something that is alive but it will still be a suit. they can make everything with CGI they dont need a suit

because whenever he unmasks as spider-man.. the neckline is all webbing

will when i first saw the low neckline i was like, they final redisnghed it to make scent, I mean with the regular high collar he normal wears he would have to wear a turtle neck 24/7 to hide it.

now that you mention it, I think i'v heard that somewhere, though tobey has a rather long neck anyway, so it's probably to make it look short lol

but, in that set pic, its low and looks kinda tight fitted , so I don't think it tunked in.

you know what i mean,(when hes out adn wearing th suit under his cloth) a normal shirt would cover it, as it is shown in the movie when he reveals it

I feel that its pre fx, it wouldn't be right otherwise, also big question, when have they said venom would come in, i always picture spidey going up againest sandman and getting his ass handed to him then getting the black suit, going nuts on sandman and then the end would result of the bell gong and brock getting the suit, through out the movie we show brock hatred for peter parker and spidey increase and his life totaly go down the tube, and still play on harry, possibly see him trying out his dads gear????

Do you guys have any idea how many different suit they used for the movies? They have the one piece, one with a high neckline and a removable mask, one witha a low neckline as pictured, and one that has completely seperate gloves, boots, etc. All for differentr shots. They used the same necklin as that symbiote suit in SM1 at the world unity festival when he ripped open his shirt, go watch it again. It has nothing to do with heat, it's just to hide the suit.

Ok so i know that this symbiote suit is different then the one we are used to. One reason being that its the red and blue just turned black and it has raised webbing. However something struck me the other day. There is a pick of Spidy pulling off his shirt to reveal the black spider suit underneath. Now this isn't anything major, but shouldn't the symboite be spidy's source of attire.

In everything i can remember, the symbiote is not a suit. Its a living organism, so it comes alive ontop of peter. So this pic makes me think that perhaps we wont be getting those cool special effects of Peter running as the symbiote is forming on top of him to become the black suit.

The only thing i can think of is that the symbiote is hiding itself from peter, and is acting like regular clothes so peter doesn't get scared and throws it away. I really do hope we get to see peter abuse the symbiote thought for all its power including multiple attire, cause Eddie wont have time in the movie to show that symbiote trick to the audience.

Thoughts, or something i have missed?

yeah they missed out an opportunity to nod at the comics to see the symbiote morphing into all of the other designs spidey made for his suit in his scrap book

noticeable, scarlet spidey costume, ben reilly's spider man, iron spidey, metal spidey, incredible bag man, as well as the other heroes in the marvel unvierse.

but alas, they've ruined another chance at greatness....

Everybody says that, that set pic will be post for fx/cgi. But if thats the case then yea we loose out of the symbiote's power to minipulate its surroundings. I really liked the idea of the symbiote being spidy's only need of attire, power, and storage. It can make pockets for him, shoot webbing for him, change into a cop uniform so he can dodge the police.

Plus! spidy always loved the idea of never having to hide his clothes in an ally and change into spidy. The symbiote sped things up so much for him. It made his life easier but at the same time more distructive. I am gonna be really dissapointed cause even though we may get an affect of the symbiote going on his head, the film doesn't seem to show the tru power of the symbiote.



Oh and what are your thoughts about the fourth villain being that guy that eddie tries to fake an interview with, but spidy captures the real guy. I forget the villains name. Just like the guy who shot ben is considered a villain so can this guy, making a total of four villains

the original symbiote's pockets could carry objects without adding weight to the suit.. they explained this as a vaccuum dimension or something.... now I think that's a little far fetched.. I am glad they are taking liberties with the suit.

what's all this about the true power of the symbiote.. we have yet to see any action scenes showing anything in the movie.. for all we know spidey can fly :P lol

I'm sure they will show augmented strength etc... lets wait to see footage of spidey in the suit before presuming things.

there's no way you can gather what the symbiote will be like in the movie from that one picture.

first of all, that shot will probably be the end of a scene, leading into a black suit scene. they just wanted to zoom in on the spider for a few seconds, maybe with CGI running up the neck.

that means the suit can still pose as clothes and such, and based on the color of pete's clothes in that scene, it seems like it may just do that.

it's just a picture. it's not like we've seen scenes of the black suit and can judge if it's good or not.

hmm He could be as well be wearing black to show he's darker, a dark man, teehee. Also I don't think he'd wear a suit over a transforming suit. Especially in those shots of him ripping open his shirt to reveal the black costume.

I really love that it's been shown he's wearing a black costume under black clothes because that fits perfectly with my theory that there is no symbiote but instead a corruption of peter's mind as a side-effect of his mutation, which creates a new persona (the emo peter).

Oh please dear god no!! Emo's already ruin everything else for people, please dont let them ruin Spiderman 3!
