Spike Jonze's Untitled Film

I liked Lars but the thing about 'Her' is I think it'll be a whole lot more melancholic because Robo-Scarlett has a personality; she can be somewhat identifiable despite being a program.

PERHAPS..SHE HAS A SOOOUUUULLL. So as a viewer you see 'her' (pun intended) as a real character, where as the "Real Girl" was an inanimate object.

can you imagine if a studio and hack would make this movie? in the second act this would turn into a horror movie.

F**k me, what an amazing trailer! Glad to see Joacquin is doing an equally deep but "lighter" role in this one, compared to The Master. F**k, this looks to be great in every way.

So, like uh, Bicentennial Man then?

Can't believe it's been 4 years since Where the Wild Things Are, this looks to be another solid film by Jonze and damn, need to see more from Joaquin. Beyond excited.

Saw this yesterday. I liked it. It did seem long to me though. It felt very unique and I loved all the world building. It wasn't in your face, it was just there. There are some hilarious scenes as well. I'll have to see it again because this film seems to be growing on me since yesterday.

Film was fantastic. It went places I wasn't expecting. Gorgeous visuals matched to a unique tale of loving someone else and all that it means.

The "future" was the highlight of the movie for me. All the small things and the style of clothing. Very cool. Spike Jonze is really good at creating this believable world and then filling it with brutally realistic characters.

Spike Jonze just won the Golden Globe for Best Screenplay for Her.

Damn WB, you're quick!

Very good movie.
This ended up being a very fine example of speculative science fiction as well as a moving story at the same time. The story explored the implications of creating fully sentient artificial intelligence in really interesting ways. I really love the costumes and production design.

Despite being the one to have posted about it months ago, I forgot Arcade Fire was doing the music. There was a point in the movie where I was listening to the music and couldn't shake the feeling that I had heard a portion of the score before.

A few minutes later it finally clicked.

The particular track at the time either was or is very similar to the final track off of Arcade Fire's new album. It is called "Super Symmetry"

This was a great movie.

8.5/10

The clothing was funny. Oh, and I loved the alien kid from the video game. :lmao:

Can't wait to see this. I'm going on a movie binge on my two days off. First The Hobbit: DOS tonight then tomorrow The Wolf of Wall Street and on wednesday I'm going to see Her. Looking forward to it.

This movie was so good. I hope it wins the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.

I haven't even watched it yet and I just feel like he's a shoe in for some reason. Just after reading up about n stuff. I think he'll get it.

The "Her" trailer with PSH as Samantha... :lmao:

I'm still baffled at the title of this thread. Someone should contact a mod.
