-MSU will beat Michigan... both times in college basketball.

-Rams finish 8-8, fire Linehan and staff. Jackson still considered strongly for MVP when Bulger gets hurt early in the season again.

-Detroit Pistons make NBA Finals after a tough 7-game series with the Celtics.

-Detroit Red Wings win their first Stanley Cup since 2002 over the Flyers.

-Detroit Tigers defeat the Red Sox in a 7-game ALCS on the way to a World Series win over the Dodgers.

-Dick Rod struggles his first year at U-M. Installing the spread takes a while, so I say by 2009 he'll be fine.

-Kobe Bryant gets traded during the offseason to a team no one expected to make a deal.

-MSU doesn't make a bowl, finishes 6-6.

Noel Devine wins Heisman; A.J. Green is a freshman superstar in the spirit fo RANDY MOSS.

Red Wings win the Stanley Cup against the Devils in 6 games.

Phoenix Suns will defeat the Boston Celtics in 7 games in the NBA Finals

You'll get my World Series Prediction in March

Nobody will watch a damn Soccer game on ESPN (Except for Mee)

New York Yankees will miss the playoffs for the first time in 15 years.

Jimmie Johnson will win a NASCAR Race.

My only prediction - Memphis wins it all in men's basketball

The Dolphins will not lose more game next year than last.

The Miami Hurricanes bring an infusion of talent and stability at QB and begin ascending to being an elite program once again.

North Carolina advances to another Final Four and takes the big prize.

Pat Riley will engineer a trade that results in the Miami Heat's play no longer being a contributory factor to the development of peptic ulcers.

The Florida Marlins will again give me no reason to pay nothing but casual attention to baseball.

Darren McFadden forgoes his senior season and enters the NFL Draft
...and he brings that wood with him.

Since I only follow baseball, I'll make post-season predictions:

DS:
Mets (East) vs Diamondbacks (WC)
Dodgers (West) vs Cubs (Central)

Angels (West) vs. Tigers (WC)
Red Sox (East) vs. Indians (Central)

CS:
Mets vs. Dodgers
Red Sox vs. Tigers

WS:
Dodgers vs. Red Sox- Red Sox in 6

These are more of a crapshoot

AL CY: Johan Santana (Justin Verlander if Santana is traded to the NL)
NL CY: Dan Haren (Santana if he's traded to the NL)

AL MVP: Grady Sizemore
NL MVP: Russell Martin

San Francisco 49ers record this year will be,maby 8-8.

I thought it over and had the Tigers win the division and get into the ALCS. Dontrelle is a wild card, I think he can turn around and at least be a very good, possible be even more. Plus that offense...

I was just joking, it's all good

My early World Series Prediction. It's subject to change.

Yeah, i agree with this.

My only predection that is not mabe with my heart, is that the Celtics will have a damn fine season but, their lack of a bench and the fact that this current roster has not had time to gel will only get them so far this year. I do not see the Celtics winning the title this year. Next year though, I'm predicting the Celtics will have one of the best seasons in NBA history.

They're having one of the best seasons in NBA history right now.

Like Fran said...MSU beats Michigan both times(basketball)
MSU goes to Final Four(basketball)
MSU goes 8-4 next year in football
;)

Florida Basketball does not repeat, loses in Sweet Sixteen round.

Florida Football cruises to a 12-1 record, falling to only Georgia. They make the National Championship and win.

Pats finish with a Super Bowl Ring.

Celtics take it all too.

LSU edges Ohio State 24-21.

That's it for now.

U-M beats everybody but Tosu, who has one loss already when they play. :(

Charlie Weis, Mangino, Tom Amstutz (Toledo), and Friedgen all pose nude as a fund raiser for diabetes.

Vikings make the playoffs next year as a wildcard after drafting Chad Henne.

Both the 93-94 Rockets and the 96-97 Bulls had better starts than the 07-08 Celtics though.

By how many games? One? Two at the most? It doesn't get much better than what the Celtics have done so far. And if the 93-94 Hawks and record holding Bulls are the only teams that have started better, I'd say they are in some pretty elite company.

LSU wallops Ohio State.

Patriots win Super Bowl 42

Red Wings win Stanley Cup

Spurs win 5th NBA title

DJ Shockley starts as Falcons QB

Red Sox repeat as World Series champs

Georgia wins SEC
