Square Enix's Avengers

Why are some people so multiplayer phobic? I just played 2 missions with 2 different full teams and they were all better than the A.I., we helped each other when needed and got the jobs done. You can't use the same characters and so I was the only Hulk!

I always mute gamechat and so it felt like I was solo.

I am because I tend to get stuck with teammates that are obviously little kid trolls everytime I go online.

I played all day yesterday from morning to late night. Not yikes at all as it doesn't feel too short or too long
If someone could finish it in a day, then its short.

Spider-Man 2018 was kinda short to me and I finished that in 2 weeks.

Good thing, they are expanding it through free dlcs.

Its really depends with who you play. I don't do multiplayer as I don't know if the co player I willget is eXperienced or not and I don't like getting pms. Then its really hard to win when your enemies are experienced players.

I also haven't invited anyone in my house to play video games in a long time. I just prefer to do it in my own way, so yeah.

Hulk is the main character I use but am using Thor right now because there's actual thunder and lightning outside. I'm dumb like that lol

Either it'll bring me luck or my power will cut off as I about to use a special move

I play with a great group from the discord, I am apart of. So we have a good coordination as a team.

Challenge Cards aren't as easy as I thought they would be. Should have known it really was going to be a grind. If Crystal Dynamics/Square Enix wants to me to buy cosmetics, they will have to lower credit prices or have sales because I ain't going to spend more than $10 for a single costume!

I'm only spending for Captain America

If you do all the side quest plus the character mission it rounds out about that.
Double yikes. The free beta was like 2 to 3 hours long and I thought for sure the game would be long especially after the delay.

Anyway I hope they release the road map soon.

Yeah, I ain’t going to grind much in this game or any of that. Mainly just want to do story based stuff.

If you complete the campaign, are you able to replay the campaign later?

I don't have the game so I'm not sure. I don't think you can replay A Day unless you start from scratch.

The main story is kinda short but some missions are very long and there's some side quests type stuff and other missions mixed in.

I'd say longer than 5 hours but maybe not more than 10-15. Not really sure and just overall felt a bit short but more than plenty.

Yeah that seems a bit short for me. If they are adding more characters and missions later, I will a while to get this.

Personally I am an old school gamer, I am 38 and after the PS1 didn’t own a games console for 20 years until I got a PS4. So I never got into the multiplayer thing. As Snow Queen said multiplayer was only couch co op back in the day.

Also, when I game I just want to shut off from the world and get immersed in another world, so playing along with people I don’t know who play be playing for totally offering reasons doesn’t no sound appealing for me. Each to their own of course.

Yeah, other people online takes me out of the game especially when you're fighting them. And worst case scenario, they could hack your account.

This is a good game but it does feel like just a sample as you can tell all the great stuff is coming later. Only 6 main characters and almost everything revolves around A.I.M.

You know there will eventually probably be big events or something with updates and new threats that will make the game truly feel like an Avengers game. I mean it already does but it will become a much bigger scale over time with characters and missions with new maps building up.

I'm terrified of new-tech and linking myself to 'on-line' play so I never do on-line' play and only ever do campaign play. I'm old too, so the 'benefit' of linking up with others for a louder' gaming experience is not for me, an experience I'd not like I don't think.

Playing with ai is peaceful as you can spam them with the same move or you can suck at playing and they will not react through dms after you beat them again and again or you made them lose. And it does help with the game immersion as you're not minding strangers across the world. Its bad enough when you hear stories about how gaming community can be so toXic, so I avoid it as much as I can.

Not gonna lie, watching the game be played, I am having trouble seeing why this should be played over Ultimate Alliance 3.

One shouldn't be played over the other. Both can be enjoyed for their own reasons if you can play both. If you aren't liking what you see with this, that's fine but don't be ignorant and make it seem like you don't know why some may like it

The graphics of mua3 was such a downgrade over mua2. I don't think I can mention any other game sequel that had such a downgrade over its predecessors when it comes to the graphics. And I don't care if Switch can't handle photo realistic graphics, they should have just named it differently instead of calling it Ultimate Alliance 3. The cutscenes of Avengers are also way more cinematic compare to whatever Mua3 has. The cutscenes of that game looked like an ad for a free mobile game. The story of Avengers is also more original.

The only thing that MUA3 has, is players have more playable characters to choose from, and that could change in the future once Square eniX releases 50 more playable characters.

I get this everytime I try to go back to GTA and do a heist. Takes ages to get a team together and one of them often turns out to be a troll happy to screw the team over when you're about to win.

Yeah. I knew something was fishy when launch trailers were still showing as little content as the trailers we had seen months prior.
