TOS Star Trek TOS refurbished.

:o ooh...that guy just updated the special-effects in it? Hmmm...if I say I like it, I fear we'll see it happen. I already don't like Mr. Lucas updating the CGI and/or changing stuff in all six SW movies :-)( now he's messing with the prequels, nooooooooooooooo.)

they should do it. In most cases of the exterior shots, it's simple, b/c just as with the original f/x, they can reuse a lot of the establishing shots of the enterprise. They should really do it, looks good, while still maintaining the stylization of the series.

This is excellent! It is good to see things like this restored as long as it is only the SFX that are redone.

Seen it before. I don't not like these episodes being Lucas-ised.

Really? Modernizing the Visual effects in TOS might raise it from being the campy, teeth grinding, POS that it is (MIGHT even make it watchable, but that is unlikely). Even for it's day TOS was low budget.

EDIT: But I supported Lucas phucking with the original trilogy.

I say redo the external f/x, and some of the beaming, and some of the phazer stuff. If it's done right, it should slip right in, without looking out of place

I agree. I don't think it's really "Lucas-izing" it. Lucas-izing would be recreating the entire series with CG models of Kirk, Spock, Bones, and the rest.

as long as it cleans up the things that looked fake or were out of place fine. but NO CGI BONES!
