This has impressed me the most. Before the series aired I did not expect this to be the show that would give us a very ground level and effective look at the transition from the Republic to the Empire. But as the season has gone on, it has done it in manner that feels realistic, which makes it all feel a bit more chilling for me. It's just so... naturalYeah, that was some good ****. I do love how explicit they were with how terrible the stormtroopers are. "Yeah, they're not really good at anything, but there's a lot of them, so it balances out". As others have said, this episode was gorgeous. That forest environment was genuinely stunning. And I am enjoying the gradual rollout of the "standard" Empire aesthetic. Makes the world feel lived in, when things change at a realistic pace.
