2nd time here. I've been doing it at the Batboards Tusi for some time. And I'll keep doing it when people say something that makes me cry.

I haven't been to the Batboards in a long time. a long time.

The poopmouth still is an elegant weapon for a more civilized age.

He's standing on the lawn of mediocrity with his friends Paul WS Andrson, Brett Ratner, and McG.

Hm. I wonder who the worst of those 4 is...

That's a good question that's not worth even thinking about.

I think I'll report myself for asking it in the first place.

They could hire Uwe Boll and people would still flock to these movies.

Well yeah, a lot of people don't even know who the hell Uwe Boll is. It might stop every Star Wars internet fanboy who's followed his work with disgust from coming, at least.

I could see Joe Johnston directing a Star Wars film. He was right there from the beginning in Lucasfilm's early days when they were working from an old warehouse, so he definitely has history with them and knows how things work. He would be great. :woot:

There's still hope for Joe Johnston! It would make perfect sense. The art director of The Empire Strikes Back and creator of Boba Fett to be on top of the short list.
True

Mel Gibson directing...Passion of the Skywalker: Attack of the Jewdi. It will still be slightly less racist than Episode I.

Well, there you go. Now we've narrowed it down to a couple of thousands.

Was Ben Affleck someone people were even considering in the first place? :o

Not if Fox can stop it with josh being stuck with Fantastic Four

I just think Josh can do better. I would rather have him do that 'Shadow of the Colossus' adaptation, which is probably gonna be stuck in development hell forever.

You know whos' also a good choice and a big fan of Star Wars?

...Joe Cornish, who did Attack the Block and Edgar Wright's right hand man..

I'm gonna watch AtB very soon, but I've heard only good things about it.

It's very good. It does a better job of merging Amblin nostalgia with modern sensibilities than Super 8, which I did enjoy too. But AtB felt fresh.

I'm just thinking of directors who have been quiet as of late. I know that Joe has some projects coming up but it seems like they're all at the development hell stage, like Snow Crash, which can take years to overcome. Or not at all. That's why G. Del Toro picks so many projects at one time. Out of the dozen projects, maybe 2 will get green lit for production.
