Have you tried resetting the battery?

Basically, drain it until empty. (And don't be fooled. Touches and phones go out before they completely drain, so you'll have to keep turning it back on until it stops coming back.) Then let it sit empty for a few hours. Then charge it back up to full, but don't touch it. And leave it plugged in and at full charge for a few hours before using it.

With Apple products, this sometimes can reset the battery to (near) original charge conditions. It might get you some more, or nothing. Depends how far gone the battery is. I used to add about an hour onto my Macbook's battery when I did that each month. Now I'm lucky to get anything extra.

That's some good advice. This should work with the Classic too, shouldn't it?

My experience is that it works for pretty much every Apple product. Even their support pages say to do so (it's where I learned do it for the laptop).

I won't be getting it anyway coz I'd need to get all of SG1 and SGA which is too much to buy, but I really really hate when they do that.

And then when they make the 2nd set comes out they make a full boxset for a little cheeper too so basically give the finger to the fans who got Volume one. They might not do that here but they did that with Lost, but I never fell for it.

I'm from the UK and I hate it when they do that, they done it with Lost, Supernatural, A Town called Eureka, the later seasons of SGA, Heroes, it's like any new show coming out on dvd over here in UK comes out in part 1 and 2 before the full boxset comes out sadly last Christmas my mom fell for that trick and only got me Supernatural season 2 part 1 wasn't impressed dammm HMV lol

The only show I remember them doing 2 DVD sets per season for is Battlestar Galactica. It makes sense that they'd do it for SGU. They seem to really be chasing the BSG crowd along with the usual Stargate fans with SGU, judging from the tone and premise.

That said, I'm not a fan of the 2 DVD sets either. But I don't usually buy DVD sets anyway, so it doesn't really matter that much to me.

The new direction there going with being lost in space (Technically Atlantis did that as well) seems fantastic. Also the show will be a more darker then the previous shows we have had.

I'll watch it. I'm not hugely excited for it or anything, but it should be at least as entertaining as Atlantis and SG-1 were in their last few years. It'll feel good to have a Stargate series back on, too. They've been a fixture of the TV landscape for so long that it feels wrong without one.

I started out hating the idea...then gradually I started to like the idea...and now that it's finally time....i'm actually REALLY excited. I even made it my wallpaper at work! (I always change my wallpaper...everyone always comes by to see what I have next. haha)

I think it'll be a great addition to the Stargate universe. (no puns intended)

I'll be watching it next Tuesday as im in the UK so im gonna have to stay clear of this thread to avoid any spoilers.

Have to admit im more excited now than I was originally, I just hope that they dont go too far with their Battlestar emulation weve heard so much about. At its core this show still needs to be Stargate.

Sanctuary is great. And after seeing what's coming at their Con panel, this season promises to be kick ass.

The webisode. I heard about it long before it was picked up and was like, "Amanda Tapping, a bunch of other Stargate people, and crazy supernatural s***... SCORE!" But I watched the first webisode and was struggling to stay awake through it. And then Amanda Tapping started pretending to be British or something and I just couldn't deal with it anymore.

Agreed.

This first few episodes are remakes of the webisodes with the same cast, a real budget, and tweaked scripts. And then they were able to explore new ground and come up with some interesting stuff.
