Got the full season boxset on Thursday, just watching the series through again.

Now I did enjoy the show when watching it as it aired but I always thought id like it more when watching them closer together and it does seem to be the case. The slower episodes really dont seem as bad now that they feel part of the story as a whole.

I'm gonna guess Shep and McKay are the two appearing in SGU. Strongest ties to Earth and the Stargate program, plus, let's not kid ourselves, they were by far the best parts of the show. I wouldn't mind seeing Ronon again, but Momoa's busy with Conan and, from what I recall, he didn't really like having to get done up with the dreads as Ronon anyway.

I don't see how it could not be Sheppard and/or Mckay. Teyla and Ronon aren't really useful except for a cameo. Woosley might do some IOA stuff. Keller could possible to do some doctor stuff, but yeah I can only see it being Sheppard and Mckay.

It could be Carson, it would be great to see him and McKay together again as one solves a medical problem while the other a mechanical problem.

Shepard and Kay are way to funny for SGU, they will break the mood of everyone with their happyness :)

Hey, O'Neill shows up every couple episodes and the show automatically becomes 100 times more entertaining. A little humor never hurt anyone. :oldrazz:

I'd take McKay, hated sheppard, so there you go. He wouldn't have much use on sgu anyway.

McKay as the engineer, and Woolsey to play up the still building IOA plot. Someone for Rush to play with, and someone for Camille to play with.

Well, it's tough to be irreverant when you're the guy in charge.

Woolsey would be cool.

I doubt Sheppard will appear in SGU as Flanigan had big problems with SGA getting cancelled in favour of SGU.

Really? Did not know about that. I'll change my guess to McKay and Beckett, then.

Ya know...I like SGU, but I noticed something. the episodes just have no real re-watch potential. I've been re-watching SG-1 and SGA at night...but SGU, once i've seen an episode, I don't really want to watch it again.

Joe was the spokesman for the rest of the cast whenever they wanted to bring something up with the writers, which made him "problematic." The producers will probably try to get David Hewitt, since he was in SG-1 and they like him.

Heh, is it bad that the main thing I took away from that trailer is that Eli's finally gonna get laid in season 2? :hehe:

I didn't really see enough of the girl to get a vibe from her. I wonder how she winds up on Destiny.

Syfy has released the Comic-Con trailer for "Stargate Universe" season 2. Check it out below. In other news, the network has confirmed that the series will return, along with "Sanctuary", on Tuesday, September 28. The Comic-Con panel also offered new details about casting on the show, specifically that "Stargate Atlantis" actors Robert Picardo and David Hewlett will guest star next season:

“If you haven’t already heard we have Robert Picardo and David Hewlett coming back for an episode this year. I just wanted to ask the panel, back in season 4 of Atlantis in the episode titled “Midway” we had Teal’c battle Ronin. And I think Eli is actually going to take on McKay”, revealed producer Robert Cooper.

Oh snapple, Woolsey and McKay. Good stuff.

Whoa, come to think of it, that puts both Picardo and Hewlett in the company of RDA, Tapping, and Shanks as the only actors who've appeared on all 3 shows.

Now if only we can get Teal'c maybe walking in the background somewhere then he can join that group as well.

Dont forget Sgt Harriman is also on that list

see, logic solved that debate.

as for Eli finally finding a vag to be friendly with: I have this odd feeling that she will not be coporeal... or something to make it painfully impossible.

and did anyone notice that the guy who remained on the paradise planet has returned?
