Here's some more fun spoilers. The episodes in the Viewer's Choice Marathon airing this Friday will be:

Lost City I
Lost City II
Window of Opportunity
A Matter of Time
1969
2010

I'm looking forward to those. :D

Hey guys when the Ori comes to Earth do you think they will confront the president like Anubis did ? I am watching Lost City on DVD & I just love the way the President pretty much pissed off Anubis & hes like "Was that a little to much" lol

I hope so. President Hayes is awesome. "Don't let the suit fool ya... We're gonna fight!" :D

What did everyone think of the marathons? There was the Viewer's Choice Marathon last Friday and the Season Nine Marathon last night. I actually voted for 3 or 4 out of the episodes that aired ("Lost City," "Window of Opportunity," and "1969"), so it was cool to see that a lot of SG-1's viewers agreed with me. The Season 9 Marathon afforded me the chance to finally record "Avalon I," "Avalon II," and "Origin," all of which aired before I'd gotten my DVR. I know have all of SG-1 season 9 and Atlantis season 2 recorded.

I live in the Uk so didnt get to see the marathon but thankfully this month is Jack O'Neill month on sky one so the voting has started for his best episodes. This week is his best action ep.

"You lucky bastards", that's what I think. :)

Damn, am I the only SG-1 fan in the US on this board? :(

Oh, the Stargate Atlantis Season 1 DVD boxed set was finally announced. It's gonna be released in Region 1 on November 15th, according to GateWorld. I'm probably gonna finish my SG-1 collection first, but I'll definitely get SGA season 1 eventually, too.

Im still not sure if im going to bother getting the SGA boxsets, im not the biggest fan of it. I think if I do get it, it'll just be one of those dvd boxsets you get when ur in the mood for a dvd but cant see something to buy that you really really want

I'm in canada, we had a Sg-1 marathon for the may 24 on space... not that long ago.

and yeah, I'm not gonna pay for SGA, the show, is mediocre at best. The visuals, and the filming, and the sets are beautiful... but the show lacks narrative. It is still young, and I didn't find the first couple of seasons of SG1 all that appealing either. SGA has great untapped potential, and I'll reserve purchasing and DVDs until it starts to get good.

I love the characters on SGA, which is more than enough to get me to buy the boxed set. Plus, Peter DeLuise and Martin Wood direct a ton of SGA episodes and their commentaries are always fun.

Anyway, I'm watching "The Fifth Race" right now and it just occurred to me: You know what we need? A Mitchell/Teal'c BOXING session! It's a tradition for Teal'c to box with important characters. He boxes with Jack in "The Fifth Race," he boxes with Jonas in season 6, and he damn well needs to box with Mitchell soon. :D

I was reading up some Episode Discriptions for future episodes & came across this

Episode 10 - The Fourth Horseman (Part One)
Air Date: September 16, 2005
The Ori unleash a deadly plague on Earth, prompting a powerful ally from SG-1's past to come to their aide.

Who is this powerful alley ? The only alley that SG1 made & got along with so far has only been The Asgard :p

Every other alley either doesnt trust them / doesnt think they are good enough for some technology / or they just really do not like them :p

Could be the Nox... Are the tollans still around?

I think the Go'uld wiped out the Tollans. The Nox would be cool to see again.

And I agree with whoever brought it up, let's see the Furlings. They're like the one big loose end left in the show. Maybe the Furlings have something that can fight the Ori, but they refuse contact with 'lesser' species, are more inclined to fight the Ori on their own or just run from them and hide, and SG-1 has to be introduced to them through the Nox or Asgard to convince the to help in the fight.

Ive already mentioned who the powerful ally is earlier in the thread

Heres some spoilers for the SG1 episode "Crusade"

Daniel Jackson and SG-1 are stunned when Vala Mal Doran (Claudia Black) makes contact with them from the distant Ori home galaxy, where she has been living safe and sound these past several months. Vala was pulled into an intergalactic wormhole in the act of thwarting the Ori's attempt to create a planet-sized Stargate for their invasion ("Beachhead").

Vala makes contact using an Ancient long-range communication device, which links her to Daniel. She remains in the village where she now lives, but can speak to the team through Daniel. In this way she tells them what has happened to her, and informs them about the Ori's impending invasion ... and her own mysterious pregnancy.

After being pulled through the wormhole Vala ended up on a planet populated by followers of the Ori. She was found unconscious by Tomin, a lame man with a kind and gentle soul, who cared for her. The two were eventually married, and she soon found herself pregnant -- though, inexplicably, not by sexual union.

But Vala has been forced to keep her feelings about the Ori to herself, as Tomin and the rest of the village are devout followers who are helping to build the Ori's invasion fleet. Denya is a local bar maiden and harlot, and the two have struck up a friendship. But the local barkeep and her employer, Seevis, is a powerful man who metes out punishment due to those who stray from the path of the Ori.

Elsewhere, General Landry makes a discovery about one of the S.G.C.'s closest allies: the Russians. He confronts Colonel Chekov (Garry Chalk) about his plans to manipulate other nations to his own advantage.

Through her connection with Daniel, Vala tells General Landry and SG-1 that the Ori's followers are building ships and armies by the tens of thousands. It is just as they feared: since Daniel first met them, they have been amassing a great force for a crusade against Earth and our galaxy. And the latest recruit to the holy war is Vala's husband, Tomin.

Tomin is overjoyed when a Prior heals his leg, and believes that the Ori have smiled upon him because of his compassion toward Vala. As a cripple he has always been a second-class citizen, and is thrilled that he has been not only healed but also conscripted as a warrior of the Ori. Vala genuinely cares for the man, but is gravely dismayed by his eagerness to travel millions of lightyears to slaughter innocent millions in the name of the Ori.

But in speaking with Denya, Vala has eventually learned that even among these people, seemingly the most devout followers of the Ori, there is an anti-Ori resistance movement. Denya is a member. And Seevis himself, who tortures Vala by depriving her of food and water for days to try and learn her true feelings about the Ori, is the movement's leader. His religious zeal is just a cover.

Now, the anti-Ori movement is undertaking an ambitious plan to destroy the Ori's new fleet. In an upcoming demostration that will see the Priors activate ten ships in a show of strength, they hope to cause a chain reaction that will destroy them all.

It was at this point, Vala says, that she revealed to them who she is and where she came from. Seevis then shared a discovery with her: the Ancient communications device she is now using.

Will the underground plot against the Ori succeed ... or is an unstoppable fleet on its way to the Milky Way Galaxy even now? Can Vala find a way to return home? What of her child? And when the Priors turn the increasingly fanatical Tomin against his wife, will she survive at all?

Can you say again please ? or is it The Russians ? & I agree we need to meet The Furlings. Would be kinda cool if The Asgard / The Ancients / The Nox / The Furlings / The Tauri all teamed up to fight off The Ori in any way & at the end of the entire Show itself of Stargate Sg1 The Tauri becomes The Fifth Race

The Ori is definitely a bigger threat then the Goauld & The Replicators combined. Now is the time for these guys to Team Up  & I am sure one way or another later in the Season the Atlantis Team will help out with The Ori seeing how they are at the Lost City of The Ancients somethings gonna come up there sooner or later maybe have one of those Races visit Atlantis to show them a few things they havent discovered there yet or something

Its Orlin, the ancient who was in love with Carter. He comes back in a different body as a child (Obviously couldnt get the same actor back)

Sean Patrick Flannery...
*dreamy sigh*

The original actor that played Orlin.

One of my favourite actors.

I love Boondock Saints.

I wish they could work out all the problems and get to filming the sequel.

I don't! Leave "Boondock saints" alone. It is a bloody classic, literally, and doesn't deserve the shame of having a less then adequate sequel.
