I just found him really creepy (im a guy but thats not the point)
I found him quite nice as Orlin. I found him creepy in The Dead Zone, though. Of course, being tied to the apocalypse does tend to make one seem a bit creepy...

Those "Crusade" spoilers make kittens explode. :(

I like how it seems this Season in Stargate Atlantis the new guy Ronin is the one Character that keeps ending up shooting John when its needed John's responses to it are mostly somewhat funny

So now they have a thing to fix that kind of transformation. Hopefully we will get into some Ford episodes they can cure him  I miss that guy I loved how he was always naming things

I'm wondering when the moral dilemma will rear its ugly head on SGA. They now have the capability to "cure" Wraiths of their iratus bug DNA, but do they have the right to change members of another race? That'd be like the US capturing a Middle Eastern terrorist and giving him a formula that made him the picture of Aryan perfection, then expecting him to fit into the good little capitalist mold.

SG-1 was kind of underwhelming. The Sodan were interesting, but the Candyman--er, Lord Haikon is as much of a closed-minded idiot as Gerak, so he seems kind of redundant. It was nice to see Mitchell persevere the whole time, but that also got kind of redundant after a while. The ending was a huge cop-out too. I guess Mitchell can never show his face around the Sodan again, given that he's supposed to be dead. And why the hell wasn't Carter jumping out of her skin trying to get a piece of that Ancient cloaking technology?? That'd satisfy her scientific curiosity and make the SGC's job a whole lot easier...

Whos to say they became the Wraith WILLINGLY ? If you ask me if I was forced to become something like the Wraith against my will even though I'd never be able to say it I'd welcome getting cured. Unless of course you were a Mad Man before becoming a Wraith.

I just finished my DL of sg1, and finished watching it. Although not a huge episode, the concept itself, I believe, is laying the foundation for more to come. They finally flushed Mitchell out a little, and his character is becoming a little more bearable. I think a few more mitchell episodes will really define the character well.

I really liked the episode, it bore an obvious relation to the last samurai, with Mitchell in the Tom Cruise role. But overall, I give it a 1 1/2 thumbs up. Nothing big happened in the episode, but it was entertaining, and I hope that the Sodan become a solid allie for the Towrie in their struggle to keep the Free Jaffa from an allegiance with the Ori.

I think the episode could have used some flashbacks, to further detail Mitchell's struggle to overcome his injuries recieved in Antartica. The references were there, but I think a little bit of subplot could have helped to define his character to a further degree.

Lastly, I can't understand why Teal'c was interrogating the captured Sodan Warrior. If anyone, Daniel has the edge. As a once ascended being, Daniel would have been in the position to mediate, and explain the state of current affairs in the galaxy. Moreover, I believe that Mitchell should have told Haikon that SG-1 had already rediscovered Keb, in order to gain his trust. One would think that the Sodan would be interested in a discovery like that.

Anyhow, good episode, and I hope that the Sodan Warriors become a staple on SG-1, as a core of Free Jaffa to set the new Free Jaffa nation on a course of virtue and honour.

Gotta wait a couple of hours for my SGA to finish, be back then

haven't seen the episode yet, but why didn't the ancients find this magical cure? They were uber smart compared to us lowly humans.

Theory: The wraith aren't humans that became wraith, but rather, Wraith Bugs that became human, or more human

Not a theory that is more or less what Dr. Becket says what you just did in the latest episode.

Okay okay my bad :p

Either way SGA should be more interesting now that they have a real workable Weapon against the Wraith

they do, it has nothing to do with technology, and everything to do with numbers

The original actor that played Orlin.

One of my favourite actors.

He was also young Indiana Jones

bah, Atlantis was dissappointing, AGAIN. Predictable, simple, boring, and you know how it's going to end, before it even begins.

Let's go hunt Ford down for christ's sake. He is by far their most useful tool. I mean come on, we've seen for what, 3 epis so far, and only for a short time in each.

the only highlight, was Caldwell. That man can act. Just an all around good guy. One can see that he's just keeping an eye on Shep, while trying to keep things running smoothly. I didn't think it was really out of line for him to change some of the military organization, he's far more experienced than sheppard, and probably has a better idea of how to organize things... but Weir's in charge, and going over her head was a little thick.

I agreed with Weir in that instance. Taking command when Sheppard's in the condition he was in and immediately making sweeping changes could have been a major blow to morale.

I think they should have the Ori in atlantis too. they are alot better than the wraith.

They are trying to keep the 2 shows as seperate as possible so its very doubtful that the Ori would become a major threat in the Pegasus galaxy.

Why keep them seperate. They both set in the same universe. I think they should have some cross overs. Would love to see a fight between Ronan and Teal,c. I am kind of getting tired of the Wraith they are alittle boring. With the ori beig acended and the power of there priahs they are so cool.

There are crossovers planned, but they try to keep them to a minimum. They're set in the same universe, but if they have the same enemy and they cross over all the time, what's the point of making two different shows in the first place? They might as well just extend SG-1 to have two hours.

diddo, but they should show up later in the series (unless SG1 defeats them before the Ori get that far).

the Ori are universe level beings, not an isolated galactic phenomenon. And it would be logical that the Ori would begin to seek out the last remnants of the ancients, and wipe them out.

Keeping the seperate for now is fine, but the Ori are more powerful than the wraith, and the ancients. And the inconsistancies will begin to get out of whack if the Ori don't pose a threat to all galaxies that were seeded, and subsequently protected by the ancients

Hey guys can anyone come up with a list of episodes that Tie In with the movie ? You know the Daniels wife / Skaaraa / Ra etc & the episode that focused on Jack & his Kid etc You know the Movie Tie Ins

how about every episode with Jack in it?

sorry I tried, but there are atleast 10 epis that tie in with the movie, with Skaara and Share, and there is one episode that ties in with Jack's kid and his estranged wife.

The Ori arent more powerful than the ancients, they are basically the same now, both ascended. The only difference is that the Ori show their power all the time and the ancients dont, that doesnt mean they dont have just as much.

As for the the Ori finding Pegasus galaxy, they didnt find our galaxy because the ancients were "hiding" the fact that there were humans in it. A fact which is only made aware to the Ori when Daniel and Vala appear in their own galaxy so its safe to assume that the ancients are "hiding" the fact that people are in pegasus aswell.

yeah, 'cept that the Ori could read daniel's mind (couldn't they?). They know all, and see all, just like the ancient. It is therefore inconsistant that Ori, once realizing that the Ancients have been hiding us and Pegasus, don't know about Atlantis and Pegasus already....

I dont remember the Ori reading Daniels mind, just more of him telling them where they are from and that the only came to learn about them.
