Ah I remember now thanks, I had already read that article but must have skimmed it too quickly as the memory of him guest starring in Atlantis had disapeered :p

Some new news from producer Brad Wright. Looks like MGM wants to make another Stargate film based on the series. And the new film may lead into a third Stargate show. (It doesn't say anything about SG-1 being canceled to make way for the third series, so the possibility of a season 11 is still out there.)

And Stargate looks to be getting an online RPG.

stargate needs to have a kick ass first person shooter. The whole concept of the show is perfect for a game. First level, training at the SGC, Level 2, off world training at the alpha site. These two levels become your bases for storing stuff, and refueling, and mission briefing.

The rest of the game are levels that you get to through the gate. Possibilities are endless, I;m suprised it hasn't been done yet

There is an Online RPG in the works. That should kick some SERIOUS ASS.

Spoilers from gateworld. This is a pretty big one folks, read at your own peril.

Mitchell, Carter, Teal'c, and Vala visit another world, where yet another village of humans has been approached by a Prior of the Ori. They talk with the village leader, Tevaris, who explains that a Prior has recently visited them and spoke persuasively about the Ori religion.

The team is curious to learn from Tevaris that this particular Prior has yet to make any threats that the village will face death and destruction if they refuse to follow Origin. Instead, he is using a "soft sell" method of evangelism, sharing only the benefits and positive merits of Origin as the one true path to salvation.

When it is announced that the Prior has returned for their answer, SG-1 takes cover to hide from him. The shrouded man walks into the village and asks Tevaris for his answer. At first SG-1 cannot see his face, but when they do they are stunned: With the white hair, a pale face, and milky eyes of a transformed Prior, it is Daniel Jackson.

Now seriously, who didn't see this one coming?
let's face it. Daniel hasn't died since season 8. He must be starting to miss it. Seriously though. Hasn't the guy been through enough!??!

It'll be interesting to see how they explain
Daniels choice (if it is a choice) to become a prior considering how much he was against it season 9

just a little over a month til new SG, how time flies

now it's only a month and a day til SG1 premiers, any predictions??

Yup. Daniel is going to look hot as a prior.

*licks lips*

WHAT!?
She's going to be on Stargate?

EDIT: yup, apperently she will. Damn, I gotta keep better track of these things.

We need the stargate team to be thrown into an alternate dimension where they meet up with Serenity! :p

So what would everyone say the worst SG1 episode was?

I think mine would have to be Bane from season 2

Worst episode ever... hmmm, speaking of albinos. :D The one with the white fellas, the civilisation that was supposed to be "dying". I think there were some giant mushrooms too... Season 4 or 5.

I don't know. It was a good idea but the realisation was terrible. There were no women! :)

I can't really say I have a worst episode. There are eps I don't like and there are eps I downright hate, but I don't think I'd put one above (or below, in this case) all others. Usually I just try to find something to like in each episode.

yeah, that episode was boring, and stupid. There were a lot of bad epis over the past decade. I HATE 'the light', the stupid episode where they all get addicted to some stupid light show.

Yeah, "The Light" was not very good. It was one of those episodes that just dragged on and on and on.

not only that, but it's on ALL THE TIME.

anyone seen the RDA mastercard commercial?

Actually, I kind of liked The Light. Maybe because I like that actor. He's impishly cute. :)

The kid? He annoyed me. I get that he's traumatized from losing his parents and living alone for so long, but come on. Quit being so damn annoying.

Anyway, I saw the RDA commercial. No mention of Stargate but I love MacGyver so I liked it.
