State Your Opinion on a Character

Hellboy: Have read a few, like him okay, but I really liked him in both movies.

Mickey: Haven't read any of the comics.

Hellboy is cool.

Mickey is different in the comics. Like the duck books, Mickey's comics mixed humor and high adventure. Disney's comics are overlooked but were really good and were huge for a good while. They were the top selling comics of the 50's, actually.

The duck books by Carl Barks are classic and are must-reads. Barks is in the top ten of any serious comics fan ranking of artists, all-time.

The Phantom Blot

Yeah, I like Mickey. How can you not?
He's one of those character's who's such an intrinsical part of our shared cultural heritage that he's pretty much hate-proof.

Wow.

I hate Mickey because the ****er's boring. Every single member of his supporting cast is ten times better. He's just like Batman in that regard.

Hellboy is awesome though.

Okay, I understand completely if you dont like the character but you hate him? How?! Like you just said, he's not interesting enough to hate...
The only explanation I can possibly think of is that you had some sort of traumatic childhood experience at Disney World... what did the man in the Mickey suit do, Ferret? Go on... let it out...

Never been to Disney World. And this is the internet. Hate = dislike.

Never read Bone. I know I should, though. I know when I do, I'll probably really enjoy it. The problem is I'm running out of "classic, universally adored" comic books to read, so I find myself in the odd position of having to ration the ones I haven't read yet.
Does that make sense? I haven't slept in quite a while...

It makes sense to the guy who texts confusing posts :me:

I'm on the same boat sadly. This and Cerberus.

I've only read a little Bone myself.

Cerberus I read for years and was an impressive comic.

One of the original "form a giant ass robot and kick bad guys ass heroes!"i loved they would be getting the hell beat outta of them and then it was "there's only one thing left to do!! we have to form Voltron and kick THE &^%$ outta RO-Beast ass!" this is the man!I it came down to individually our asses are toast ,but together we can form this big robot with this big ass sword and slice that fool's head clean off! they dont make stuff like this anymore! of course i wanted to pilot the Black lion!( hehe naturally!) since I will form the "THE HEAD!"Voltron Rocks and though i dig the original the newer one has of course that kick ass theme song that every hero need. Every hero needs a cool ass theme song! So talk amongst yourselves and discuss the old or the new and oh yeah
"LET'S VOLTRON!!"

Not really into giant robot/mech stuff. Once you've seen one, you've pretty much seen 'em all. I know that's probably a really ignorant thing to say but... yeah.

About time, and I like the people who drive this ship

Power Rangers giant megasaur =/= Something Prime ;)

I love Bone, one of the best comics I have read. Voltron I have only nostalgic memories of

the Ghost who walks is hella awesome . i totally dig dude!

I have to say that I might be the only person on this forum that actually likes the new Voltron series Voltorn Force. I don't think people gave it much of a chance. It's apretty decent show, and they actually gave the other lions something to do. Haven't read the comics yet, but I loved the cartoon as a kid.

As for the Phantom, I think the movie starring Billy Zane is very underrated. I really wish it got more love to get sequels. They had some good things going there. Haven't read the comics, but I will eventually get around to it considering how long Phantom has been around.
