Rick is awesome!
Seriously, is there a more resilient, unstoppable badass in comics these days? (Non-superpowered, that is)
Practically every issue, the guy takes a mental and physical pummelling and he just gets up and keeps going.
We should all give him a big hand! :o:yay:

yeah have to agree Rick is great, one of the best in comics today.

Rick Grimes is a man with a plan. That's pretty much all you can ask for in the world that he lives in. Sure I have three characters I like ahead of him in Michonne, Andrea, and Tyreese. What Rick has that they don't is vision. It's easy to see why he's the leader of the group. He always makes a plan for everyone, and he is certainly not afraid to make the hard choices.

Rick's development was excellent for most of the series but kind of reached a plateau around volume 12 or 13 of the trades. But I haven't read the newest one yet, so there could be more to come. I'm starting to think Kirkman will end up dragging The Walking Dead out too long, since I'm not seeing any end in sight and it's been running so long, but who knows? He could have a great, fresh and exciting idea right around the corner.

Rick's awesome. Guy's made of sterner stuff than I.

Rick is awesome, but you really shouldn't be punching infectious zombies in the mouth with a bare hand.

I'd like to think Rick is the type of leader I'd be if I were put in the same circumstances.

Confused, scared and desperate at first, and then slowly going insane?

More along the lines of 'gain a group of people's trust and respect, convince them all you are the right man for the job and that every (hard) decision you make is in the best interest of them ALL, when really when it comes down to it you've only cared about your own family's survival.'

Focusing on the half empty half of glass

Human nature at its best :oldrazz:

I think the latest issue breathed new life into the comic. I'm looking forward to seeing where they are going with these
new communities.
It could drag the series on more, but I think it's a legitimately good place to take the comic. It makes a ton of sense too.

Forsythe P. "Jughead" Jones

He reminds me of Marshall from How I met your Mother....or maybe that's the other way around.....either way that dude can eat a lot of burgers.

dude Spider you're killing me man!
Hahahaha in all the years! i never knew that dudes names was "Forsythe!"Jughead rocks!! the 'orginal slacker" before the word was ever coined... you know while Archie was chasing Betty and veronica, that dude probably invested his money in a fast food burger chain and is now the "Bill Gates" of Riverdale!

That burger addict did it in some what if tales and owned his burger joint

I'm a fan of his hat, along with the rest of his character

Garfield

I liked the Garfield strips a lot as a kid. I haven't read them in years, so I can't really say more than that.

Heathcliff was better! :argh:

Yeah, I just don't care for Garfield anymore.

Same. Who cares?

Funny how much better his strips are when you take him out of them though, aint it?

I like the cat reactions, Jon is dull, he's more dull and only sulk without his cat

Aw, c'mon Aziz! How can you not love 'Garfield Minus Garfield'?

The increasingly depressing adventures of John, a sad, lonely man who's slowly going insane...
