Personally, I love 'em. So many many movie creatures leave me cold but there's something genuinely creepy about these dudes.
I haven't read a lot of the comics (I just don't see how the effect would be the same in a comic book) but the first three movies are great.

The less said about the Resurrection and the AVP travesties the better.

This guy is right up my alley, but I prefer his more classic look. He's the supreme leader of Cobra. A ruthless, terrorist organization, determined to rule the world. AWESOMENESS & COOLNESS all around!!!

Aliens ? Meh, I'll take the Predator over the bugs anyday, although the Space Marines were pretty bad ass.

I preferred Serpentor over Cobra Commander, until I seen G.I. Joe the Movie and Cobra Commander revealed he was a creepy snake mutant , cool as hell. Plus Chris Latta's voice for him and Starscream was awesome.
