What is the best ale, lager or beer...Hell what do you think is the best drink to go with steak. No special occasion, just because you want to have a tastebud party in your mouth?

Right now I've got my favorite, London Broil with Yuengling Traditional Lager..

I've never had a beer that I thought would go well with a food. No liquor at all actually, not even wine.

Silverstein, you suck.

I'm at work and that looks damn good right now. :)

Yuengling? Saw them in Beer Wars, wanted to try it. Pennsylvania right?

I usually pair a steak with Sam Adams Boston Lager

Yuengling has always been my favorite. It's the only beer/lager that I'll drink out of a glass

Meh, I feel lame eating Ramen Noodles for supper. :(

Maybe when Star Trek comes out I'll treat myself to a night on the town and pop into Outback or something. :D

Don't you not drink because of your weightlifting and stuff?

I have a drink every now and then and it's never with food really. Actually, knowing what I know now, I'll never eat w/i a few hours of drinking ever again if I can help it lol

It's so much better to cook on your own, bro! I'll give you a bunch of steak recipes. And it's cheaper. I shop at Wegman's...You get a london broil, 12 inches long, 6 inches wide for like 20 dollars (with membership card). And they have bigger and bigger steaks depending on how much you want. So for like under 30 dollars you have a giant ass steak, that you can slice (and cook like half of) and a case of beer.

At William Douglas, it cost like $400 for my GF and me for less.

Alcohol is essentially a poison. So when you drink, your body shuts down the digestion of food and works overtime to metabolize the alcohol(It's why you feel hot and/or sweat when you drink). Since you can't just keep food in your stomach while you get rid of the alcohol, your body stores it mostly as fat.

Not a big deal if you have steak and a beer; but a 6-pack with a pizza is bad news

I tend to feel ill if I drink alcohol while eating...learned my lesson too many times.

Oh my gosh! Ew. I don't want to get fat. I'm already out of shape. I lost a race the other day to a friend....(You don't know how much that hurts, unless you're the fastest kid you know...I have never lost a race before that I didn't earn back my win...Except for this time)

Anyway..I can't believe that. Well I'm going to start running in the summer, so I'll be fine either way. It won't affect me, I'll just go to GMC and find something to burn it away. I'm 5'8" 190..with less then 15% body fat.
