I wish I could link DoubleToasted's review of Steel on YT.

:D Steel is unintentionally (or maybe even intentionally) hilarious.

Nostalgia Critic also did an epic review of Steel a while back. :D

Yeah but damn, you need to see Billy Brooks' laugh in the Doubletoasted review for Steel, posted up about 7 months ago,

I spat out my drink and fell out of my chair.

Man BvS just can't catch a break can it lol? In all seriousness though that Double Toasted Bad Movie Review of Steel is still one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Billy's laugh is just contagious.

I wonder if DC will ever try to bring Steel back. I think there's a lot you could do with that character. Provided you cast an actual actor this time and don't put him in a Ninja Turtle mask that's been spraypainted silver, lol.

I just checked that Double Toasted video, and :lmao:, that opening. Thanks for the suggestion.

I'd easily vote for STEEL, cause at least I find it fun, and that theme is pretty catchy too. I have no respect for BvS music, Wonder Woman's theme starts with annoying horns and then turns to something forgettable, Batman's music suite gives me the impression the character is so depressed he has strong suicidal intents (and it looked that way in Justice League how he entered the fray of the climax), and I think the good music in it comes from Man of Steel, but loses a significant amount of its charm.

Steel isn't good. But it is just harmless, low budget fluff. I always thought that the response was towards it was overly harsh for what it is. Probably because Shaq makes it an easy target. It isn't Catwoman bad. I'd rather watch it than several other higher profile superhero films, BvS included.

Should we do Hasselhoff's Nick Fury vs. BvS for our next poll? I think BvS might actually win that one...

Because I think only about 6 people on earth have seen the Hasselhoff movie.

    I've actually never seen Steel.

I watched Generation X, M.A.N.T.I.S., Meteor man, Night Man, Blank Man and The 90s Captain America in the 90s, but I never did see Steel with Shaq.

Oh **** I forgot about Night Man. I only watched about five minutes of it back then and wanted to throw up. I remember the comic being pretty good back in the day but DAMN did they not have the budget or the talent to make a legit adaptation. I also seem to remember him flying(?) on the show. Why the hell did they do that?

BvS doesn't have Shaq leaving a scene by stepping backwards onto an escalator and riding it away, Steel wins.

Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D can't be bad. It was "from one of the writers of Batman Begins". :o

Yeah, it seems like a quite obscure flick among the cbms. I wasn't aware of until a couple of years ago. Hm, a double feature with Steel and Nick Fury and some alcohol could be a fun night in the near future. :D

One of these movies is mildly embarassed by its source material, the other actively hates it. That is pretty much all that needs be said.

I don't know. Lol. I remember it being quite bad.

Those were the real dry spell days as far as quality superhero and film tv content went . This generation is spoiled rotten. Lol.

The best sort of "Superhero live action shows" around that time for me were Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Xena, and Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

I still haven't seen the Nick Fury Hasselhoff film. Even I skipped that one in High School.:D.

Steel is by far the superior film. Its production values are beyond compare. Just look at that costume!

Steel is sort of like B&R where you can actually be entertained by how hilariously bad it is.
