Stephen Colbert has balls

What the hell are you talking about? The Bush administration has been one of the most secretive ones in history, and his press relations are more staged and calculated than just about any. Bush even wants executive privelage to extend beyond his terms (gee, I wonder why?).

don't bother. his head's too far up bush's ass to be affected by logic or reality.

I just learned today that when Stephen Colbert was only 10 when his father and two of 11 brothers died in a plane crash :(

Yeah, that part was pretty sad. I really respect his pretty long climb to the top. I remember that Who's Line episode from a long time ago, when he got stuck playing the straight guy that they always interchange to set up the three main guys.

He wasn't very funny on it, but it's pretty much geared so that guy number 4 is never funny.

Well 11 brothers and sisters...but yeah probably a good ol' fashion catholic family...he was the youngest.

I had been meaning to look up whether or not he did a lot of the writing for the show before the seeing the 60 minutes thing, cool to find out that he does. Wikipedia says he really is deaf in his right ear, even though the tumor thing was just a joke, that must be annoying.

wow, 5 pages talking about Colbert's balls. I commend you, Hypesters

They're very worthy balls for discussion.

Sometimes, but then again, some of the "guy number 4's" included Whoopi Goldberg and Robin Williams.

Colbert's humor is deadpan satire. Who's Line is more absurdist, and it didn't really suit him.

One other note, 60 Minutes covered Colbert's gig?

Well, if they stick a high profile person on there, of course they're going to defer to them more than to someone that's a nobody, which Colbert was at the time.

Yeah, they did, it was pretty interesting.

On another note, god I loved the graham cracker crust of corruption line. Again, ballsy.

Plus, I just noticed Bush's wife wouldn't even stand up and shake his hand at the end like everyone else was doing out of politeness.

I don't my dad is deaf in one ear...he has never seemed to make any deal about it...I think you just learn to live with it, he certainly never said it was annoying.

i noticed that too. i guess it's okay for her to joke about her husband jerking a horse off but just don't poke fun at his policies.

I guess you would, it just seems like it would bug me more than being deaf in both ears for some reason.

Nice stuff. It's great to know that he's not such a tool in real life.
Huh? How the hell is Colbert a tool? What he just did is pretty much the antithesis of toolness.

f**king hype crashing all the time! anyway, yeah, he's a really nice guy in real life. but he sure can bring out his inner a-hole when he wants to. plus, he's obviously extremely intelligent and informed.

yeah, drudge has always been a partisan hack. :down

I think he fancies himself the Walter Winchell of the internet or something. I'm surprised no one has beaten him to a pulp thus far.
