Steven Spielberg Teams with Stephen King for Under the Dome

They better come up with a good reason why whats her names brother and everyone in town just casually forgot she existed. It is getting beyond ridiculous.

Her brother asked Junior about her just last night.

I don't think the whole Junior thing is going to end next week. I have a feeling that his dad is just going to close the door on her and leave her there. I don't think good old dad could handle the embarrassment and humiliation that it would bring to him for what Junior has done.

I hope he just shoots her & puts everyone out of their misery. Then watch Junior show up & shoot him & let the crazy continue. Please let this show be a miniseries & nothing more

I thought young Sam looked extra creepy when he got up after the seizure and shushed to the camera.

I loved the logic that seizure kid used to interpret the seizure. "Well, I shhh'd so it must mean the dome doesn't want us to tell people about it."

The same dome that has cut them off from everything else, killed people, livestock, destroyed property, and has no clue about what it could be. Yes, lets trust the dome. Ridiculous!

I was also thinking that Big Jim won't let Annie out. The development with the Reverend is interesting. Even though Barbie killed the redhead's husband in self-defense but how is he going to get out of it when she finds out.

I'm glad we got a lot of advancement in the background of the characters. I wish we would get more scenes with what is going on outside the dome. Maybe they aren't showing the outside world because they want to keep the audience trapped in the dome like the people in the town are trapped.

Julia was annoying this week "I have to go because my personal problems outweigh everyone else's lives and the towns safety!" Barbie should have just let her rot.

Like most I'm thinking Big Jim is going to cover up dopey Junior's antics and we will be treated to more of Angie sitting in a room, I mean how is it no one can see that Junior is a psycho? Clearly it's escaped the attention of the towns Sheriff who's given him a badge and a gun. :funny:

i'll be annoyed if this happens but I wouldnt be surprised at all.

I'm not expecting her to make it to the end of the season, so I'm more expecting him to tell Junior to clean up his mess.

Not particularly, but I just thought your "She thinks she's so important? He should've just left her to die!" irrationality was funny. :funny:

What's irrational about it? They are in a life threatening situation and her selfish and stupid actions could have killed other people, she's a liability.

And leaving an untreated woman out in the open is a way to remedy the situation?

Yes, then she can't do anything like that again because clearly she is a self centered idiot. These people are supposed to be in survival mode, you can't have someone like that around.

Personally I see the guy who thinks he's serving "God's will" by tossing much-needed drugs down the toilet as the bigger threat to the town. Wearing that collar isn't gonna keep you safe when you're pulling stupid **** like that.

Those kinds of people always annoy me but they are a recurring theme in some way or another in King's stories. I found the one in The Mist more annoying but this is a television series so he has time to become an even bigger ******* in the future.

She's had enough of playing the damsel in distress. In the wake of the brutal knife attack on her character Claire in the season finale of The Following, Natalie Zea will take on the role of a tough gal on CBS's Under the Dome beginning August 19.

"I play Maxine, an out-of-towner who has been in Chester's Mill since the dome came down but has been hiding, lying in wait, ready to make her move," Zea says. "She came to Chester's Mill on an errand and has associations with some of the key players, including Big Jim [Dean Norris]."

Maxine is a real estate broker and has a connection to the mysterious Agatha (Mare Winningham), who has been looking after one of the town's homes. "Maxine is not happy being stuck under the dome but is making the most of the situation," says Zea. "And I get to carry a gun, which I rarely get to do!"

I hope I don't find her character to be annoying as was the case on the Following & Justified. I like her.

Another solid episode. I feel the strong urge to buy a Microsoft Surface after this episode though...
I think this episode will be the tipping point with [BLACKOUT]Some change in the dynamic of the hostage story and Big Jim maybe becoming more villanous[/BLACKOUT]

For a few minutes there the weakest part of the series was over. Now that Big Jim as boarded crazy train with his son. I think Angie goes back to the hole with big Jim pulling the strings now.

Best one since the premiere.

I loved Jim just casually pushing the reverend's head against the dome until he started bleeding out his ear. Just like "Yeah, I'm done listening to you."

I wonder how much damage was done to the neighboring town when the military launched their missile at the dome. The people in those towns have to be pissed, assuming the government even bothered clearing them out.
