A change of pace episode. More revelations about the dome emerge and the residents of Chester's Mill avoid an apocalypse on the outside, but can't avoid each other.

If there actually is an apocalypse on the outside. Someone was trying to contact them at the end of the episode, so it could be that Christine was putting on a show (not unlike the virtual world). It was belief that humankind was gone that got Barbie to turn away from humanity, and loss of humanity = control.

I'm also not sure what to believe from what Junior told Sam, because shortly afterward it turned out that he knew Sam stabbed Christine. He could have been testing him with false information.

Good points. I wondered if it was an illusion too, but I don't think Junior is lying about their "home world."

And Barbie is teetering between both worlds, being heavily influenced by Eva. Time will tell if he's lost his humanity for good.

I like the direction the show is going.

Earlier I said that maybe the reason Joe wasn't affected, or turned into a drone like the others was because of his strong attachment to Chester's Mill. I was on the right track. Apparently, Norrie is now the smartest person in the town, a town she is not legally a resident of.

That's a pretty good theory. An entire show to finally get Barbie over that last hurddle.

Before last episode I would have said that Barbie is pretending, now I think he trusts the kinship but he is still not fully one of them.

I think Barbie is playing along for now. Seeing the outside world was fine should have knocked some sense back into him. Leaving him both relieved and pissed for the deception.

Also, I think the blood transfusion did nothing to Sam. He's still Sam and he's going to try and kill Christine again.

Barbie didn't appear all static-y in the mirror, so I think he's pretending. He's too emotionally attached to Julia.

Sam is a mystery. What emotions are going through him that didn't allow the transfusion to take?

I predict you're right. In the book, that would have been a death sentence for Christine. Granted the series strayed from the book, but such an action would have been consistent with Junior's character.

Glad to see Barbie back. The end scene with Julia watching Barbie play acting was a little annoying. The whole doubt thing which keeps this love triangle going is tiresome. Don't want any more time on Julia worrying about Barbie's emotions

I think that scientist guy is the same one who played the thug that drove into the chemical vat in the original RoboCop film.

I wondered that too. Has the army given up? I cant remember if Aktion is part of the military, kind of like how Area 51 is supposedly a secret branch of the military.
