Tell you what I'd be in the Oasis, a Reaper from Mass Effect. I would pretty much be an invincible god machine.

OMG is that the flying van from Spaceballs?

Hard to say without getting a closer look - but definitely a resemblance there. A think one of the Yogurt dolls would be hysterical.

EDIT: Wait I turned up the brightness on my monitor. Yup - that's the Winnie alright.

It just occurred to me that this film will have an insane rewatchability factor going for it while it's in theaters. People will want to keep going back to catch all the easter eggs they may have missed.

A report from SXSW said the SO after it ended was the loudest they had ever heard there.

Other reports/reviews were less enthusiastic.

It's gonna be polarizing for sure. You need to watch this both opening night with a crowd of dorks that know their pop culture and again on a matinee where suburban dude bro and his kids come.

I love/hate pop culture so I can't resist this lol

The GA are going to hate this.

This is like a big budget cult film of the future.

Am beyond hyped / excited for it, as I am with every Spielberg film, but I'm getting the same excitement and 'feel' as I did for E.T. when I was 7 for this.

Wonder how the 3D will be for this. Tempted to see it in IMAX 3D but my theater only has one late showing

3D glasses darken the screen. I avoid it like the plague.

Last Action Hero is such an underrated movie.

Thank you.

I will never understand the hatred for it. It was a snappy Shane Black screenplay with Arnold at the top of his game mocking his own movie genre. The kid playing Danny was also a really good actor considering his age. It kind of had the whole Jack Burton BTLC vibe to it.

I think I've watched it like 5 times in the last month since it's playing on Cinemax.

I'm usually against 3D but certain movies I make an exception for. Seems like this would be one of those

So when he's his game avatar, is that another actor or is it completely CGI and Tye Sheridan doing motion capture, or what?

Probably full CG like all the avatars, unless someone is credited with the likeness.

So damn excited for this movie, looks like a ton of fun. And that new trailer is incredible.

The theme kinda reminds me of The Mighty Ducks...but I love how nostalgic it makes me feel.

Man now everyone is gonna have the Back to the Future jingle as a ringtone or something and I'm the only one I know who has it right now lol
