I liked the second ep, the son has at least gotten over his angst. Lang continues to be awesome and the father is a decent character as well, as is Wash.

Same here.
I will keep watching, I like scifi and I am not that picky. I think I will even like Terra Nova more than Falling Skies.

They definitely should have elaborated more.

Whats to elaborate on? I thought it was pretty clear. They let them keep the kid and were fined for having more than the allowed number of children. They offered her the position on Terra Nova but since population control, she could only take 2 kids, not 3 so she wouldve had to leave her behind or turn down the position.

It definitely did feel like a lot better show with a lot of that angst gone & kids not getting into trouble. I still say that somehow the sons gf that he left behind will eventually show up in Terra Nova

ah Fox... I have a feeling that this show will suffer the same fate as the previous show on roughly the same topic, and its sister show. Anybody remember when SAAB and Earth2 were coming out... they were constantly pre-empted for Football and Baseball, so much so, that it was pretty much impossible to follow either show, because you could never tell when it was actually going to air.

couple that, with the mild afterschool special feeling the show pushs, I don't see it surviving too long

the game was not supposed to be played today it got rain delayed from yesterday, and the game went almost 2 hours longer than they scheduled. so it was an accident it got pre-empted

... so just watched. Enough with adventures in wonderland. Single serving episodes will murder this show. It will die if they don't get some sort of 'actual' plot going. Enough of the tease at a larger story, and start telling it.

This show makes no sense. According to "A Sound of Thunder" this show fails. You can't go back in time and start living without messing up the timeline and future. >_< makes no sense.
