My GOD I love his Faraday. I was scared Ostrander had killed him off but he came back in a big way in the last issue.

I have all the issues sitting in my room. Like quite a few other recent DC books, I really mean to check them out, I just never get around to reading them. Sounds like I should start in on them right now. Time to fire up some doobage and get at it.

They way he took out Carmichael? Beautiful. Art-work on that was phenomenal too. Waller's response? Three shades of awesome.

Yeah, the mini's been good.

"You're going to need more than a popgun to kill me, kid." and "Did you have to kill him - I kind of liked him." were awesome moments. Also loved Waller saying she was going to blow the General's Brain out of his ears.

Can't wait for the Showcase edition of the original series. Really want to go back and read it all.

What I maybe liked most was Rick Flag in the latest issue. I know I was one of the biggest sceptics about Flag's resurrection, but the way Ostrander has handled it, especially with the Rustam mythology, just great stuff. Either way, his interaction with Bronze Tiger under Ostrander's pen alone has been enough reason to bring him back. By the by, that's the Bronze Tiger I've been clamouring for all these years. Glad he's back.

Great panel on all fronts. Particularly dug the depiction of the bullets hitting Carmichael. Too bad he had to die.
