That voice of Harley was totally Tara Strong. :awesome:

I like how John Diggle went by the code name "Green Lantern" in that episode. Nice nod to GL fans. I wonder if his middle name is Stewart?

I thought I heard that too, and got so happy. Rewound to make sure and realized I heard it wrong. I think she called him "freelancer" or something to that effect

yeah it was "freelancer" cause he was brought in on the job.

I've ben thinking about it, and I still don't think this episode was as good as it could have been. The Suicide Squad were barely used, which was weird to me. And Waller knowing about the nerve agent and willing to blow up Deadshot was just too much.

Here's my review, I hope it clarifies my views on this.

I wonder what people are drinking or smoking. That they are imagining imaginary names in shows. That they watch that are not said lol. But then again it might be best that its not known

Lol what

I think you heard what you wanted to hear:cwink:

I guess it was some Slade or Blood goon that knocked him out since Slade was taunting Oliver about it.

The only thing about it being a Blood henchman is that the person would be privy to who Arrow was and we know Slade won't tell Blood who Arrow is.

I also think I can speak for a lot of fans and say Slade probably isn't surrounding himself with random thugs/henchmen.

Something tells me it was Isabel Rochev.

I think the whole Stellmoor/Isabel buying 50% was part of Slade's plan to make Oliver feel total despair.

I mean if that's not the case then the whole Stellmoor storyline would have been a waste and the time could have been used for something else.

Yeah, if something doesn't happen with Isabel I'm going to wonder what the point was with bringing her in. They teased a lot but that's it.

^ Yeah I really expected more to be done with Isabel. I really got the impression she'd have more of a regular presence, but this season is juggling a lot of plates and it seems like some stuff has taken a back seat, whether that be Isabel or Malcom actually being alive etc.

As for this episode, I really enjoyed it. The Arrow episodes I enjoy the most are the ones were the dialogue scenes and character interactions have the most room to breathe. The show can sometimes feel like it races through scenes. Just as youre getting into a good bit of dialogue, it has to go somewhere else, to another scene with another plot thread and another character. This episode felt like it could take its time. Any scene like the Felicity and Diggle one, I really appreciate. For such a fast paced show, I love it when the writers remember to slow it down so we can spend some quality time with our characters.

I also loved how Slade's presence was felt throughout this episode, even though technically he wasn't present. It gave us a great look at how he's getting into Oliver's head.

9/10 for me.

8/10, largely for tying together all sorts of subplots, finding a good formula for Deadshot/Diggle and Waller/Arrow, and for having a nice spy story throughout. Also, Laurel was back to Season One status quo, which is a double edged sword; on the one hand she was likeable and well acted, but on the other, she's still frozen out of the loop of cool stuff going on and relegated to the "feelings" side of the story.

I am curious to see the CW maybe try for a Suicide Squad spinoff. If not, I look forward to them being recurring characters in both this show and Flash.

Also, I loved the way they're having Slade play mind games now, and how his stalking of Oliver implies just how dangerous Oliver's predicament is. Here's hoping that equals a third faction (a rebellious Blood and Grundy) getting involved to even the playing field.

The episode was kind of boring. I was much more interested in Oliver and Slade than Diggle and his Suicide Squad.

I thought that this episode had good ingredients but poor execution. The transitions felt jerky and it seemed like they weren't sure which was the a-plot so they decided to try and focus on both which didn't work. The beginning seemed off, and the suicide squad plot lacked tension. The whole, "you saved my life" thing didn't work since it was unclear in the flashbacks. At some points I was more interested in the Ollie plot than the Diggle Plot. Another thing that didn't help was that, through know fault of the show's, A.R.G.U.S. seems like a lower budget, less cool, version of S.H.I.E.L.D. (the organization). Diggle's neglection in earlier episodes really shows, he's still talking to Lyla? There's been no amount of time spent on Diggle previously and it really hurt the episode.
That said, I did enjoy the episode, 7.5/10

I felt the same way as Oliver should've been involved in the Suicide Squad instead of Diggle. A lost opportunity there.

Yeah I'm definitely not a fan of the actress playing Waller

Maybe when Oliver was rescued off the island he was taken to Amanda Waller first and interogated about important information that she needs from the island or someone he encountered on the island? Or does it sound like they knew each other way back?

Or maybe she encountered him on the island and left him there.

Eh. It was okay. I didn't think it was a particularly exciting episode. It felt like filler. 6/10.

I wonder if they'll have Amanda enlisting the Suicide Squad to help Oliver take down Slade and company.

Now the only question that I have is...who the heck knocked down Diggie from the last episode? I was pretty sure that it was one of Waller's goons, who would bring Diggie to Waller at the start of this episode.

Also, anyone else find it strange on how Oliver never once asked where Diggie was and all that?

I thought Slade was behind that since told Ollie he knew Diggle had a gun on him.

I thought it was a solid ep, I liked the bit of back story on Diggle and Lyla and the dynamic between Diggle and Deadshot continues to develop interestingly. The Mission Impossible style stuff with Suicide Squad was fun and damn Waller is cold!

The stuff with Ollie back in Starling felt like filler just to have him in the ep, and I think he's going to get a wake-up call when Slade goes after "the woman he loves" and it's not Sara.

The reveal that Ollie knows Waller is interesting and I'm curious as to where Slade got that Shado footage from.

The fact that Shrapnel died off screen made me think momentarily that he might be back again.(I mean was it really that expensive to show a car blowing up?) But he's probably not that compelling a character to earn an eventual return.

I believe one of the show's producers confirmed, recently, that Shrapnel is definitely dead and the only reason why his death was "off-screen" was because they wanted to show it from Diggie's POV.

Servicable episode, honestly a bit disappointed it wasn't a full-on Suicide Squad focused episode but I apperciate fleshing out more backstory between Diggle and Lyla, not to mention developing Floyd as a character, will be interesting to see the squad appearing again, but then make Deadshot the leader and maybe use Clock King as one of the member. The build they have to Oliver's inevitable showdown with Slade's going to be amazing.

Which essentially translates as currently, (assuming said producer is being honest in the first place) Shrapnel is allegedly dead and that they don't have any plans for the character. The off-screen death leaves the option open should the creators decide to bring the character back at some point in the future.

Besides, professional bomb-maker killed by a bomb. That's either poetic justice or a way out. It stands to reason that Shrapnel, knowing full well that he has a bomb in his head, would know how to prevent it from being remotely detonated.

To be fair, I don't think the episode was meant to be a backdoor pilot to a Suicide Squad spin-off.

There's many ways they can go with his character.

Since he's a bomb expert, they can always say that he somehow disarmed the bomb, OR the bomb goes off as he's attempting to disarm it, but in way that turns him into comic Shrapnel.
