Which is a huge trade down, if ya ask me. Whatever they're shuffling Sal off too, I hope it's big, because that kind of art deserves it.

Yeah, he'll just be doing it for a few more issues, and there will be some fill in artists in between and such up until issue 12, at least.

Just wondering if any opinions have changed with some new previews and other news. And for an update, Larocca will be teaming with Warren Ellis on his reimagining of the old New Universe line, which is being called Newuniversal, at this time.

I'm really only excited about Civil War, although I'm fully expecting another great-idea-poor-execution-summer-crossover special. But the idea is solid enough to get me interested.

I can't stand Rachel or the Sh'iar. Oh well. I will still be picking it up because it's a new writer.

I'm not sad to see Larocca go...well, I am because his art is astonishing. But have you seen the last few issues of X-Men?! The art is HORRIBLE and I'm guessing its the inkers or colorers or however you say it. But I am excited for a new artist.
