Revenge of the Fallen Super Bowl Spot!

Yeah it will be hard to make Devastator have a personality since he makes up of several bots with their own individual personalities, wonder how it will turn out.

That Devastator is even more lame... just the vehicles stuck together ...
Too power rangers...

HOLY ****!!! THAT'S A BIG MUTHA****ER!!!

I think Bay just decided to take the biggest of all the construction vehicles just so he can make Devastator as big as possible...

So it's:

Long Haul
Mixmaster
Wheelie-Bot
??
??
??
??

we have lots of gaps to fill...

I would love to see a showdown between Devastator and Soundwave and his minions, similar to what we had in the 80s movie. But judging from the size of Devastator that doesn't seem so likely, too bad.

Instead we will get the underused FALLEN hopefully ripping him a new one...

Yup, Devastator must be Godzilla-sized when he's fully assembled. Pretty crazy.

I have a feeling Bay is setting it up so Devastator is going to challenge Unicron. I just do not get how Devastator or any of the Constructobots could be under the control of Megatron.

you know the power ranger concept (super sentai) predates all transforming mecha and robot ideas, don't you?

edit:that may be a tiny lie...(just covering my back)

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that the Fallen is probably going to be a pretty big bot, not devistator big but bigger than Prime and Megs

Longhaul may not be that big as in the concept. In that concept, he's based on a Caterpillar 797B, the largest dump truck in the world.

He won't be that particular dump truck in the movie, although he's still gonna be a pretty big dump truck.

Yeah well I just hope all the bots get the screen time they deserve before they join the metallic graveyard. Between Devastator and the Fallen and all the other bots that will be in this movie it seems as though the whole film will be rushed really bad, or we will have bots dying every 5 minutes.

Devastator: I AM THE BIGGEST TRANSFORMER IN THE WORLD!!!! WHY SHOULD I LISTEN TO YOU PUNY MEGATRON!!! I SHALL CREATE MY OWN DEVAS-CONS!!!

Megs: Because I know your secretly gay and am going to tell everyone...

Devastator: You wouldn't dare!!! That would like totally ruin my macho image!
Fine... you can order me around...

Also, Fallen should be the biggest...

Fallen>Devastator>Jet-Optimus

Or maybe Megatron upgraded his cannon and everytime the constructicons try to combine Megs just blasts them causing them to fall apart everytime.

Or the contructicons are like Jaws from James Bond or Rhino from Spider-Man... big and stupid...

Or maybe the won't work with each other very good, like the left leg wanting to go this way, and the right leg the other way and what not. Haha

Close, but not exactly.

The first Japanese Sentai "ranger" series started in 1975, which was also the same year that the first "realistic" transforming giant robot design, "Brave Raideen" appeared. So they were around at roughly the same time.

However, there was an "unrealistic" transforming robot hero named Ambassdor Magma who had been around on Japanese TV and comics since 1966. He doesn't count as a "real" transformer because his transformation from robot to rocket ship made no mechanical sense and was more like magic than mechanical design, but he did come first.

Hmmm maybe I should make a thread about the history of transforming robots...

Well maybe something like this...

Any design would be better than that travesty of a wheelie robot. :o

The wise one has spoken. :oldrazz: :woot:

that's what i'm saying..how does someone look at that and call it lame is beyond me...that's what he looked like..something similiar to that is what i would like to see....

Lame because it's generic...
It takes out of the box thinking to come up with unicycle-bot...

I have to agree with the Power Ranger comment. That look worked in a 2D medium, but in a live-action movie, I'm just gonna think of Megazords.

But then again, I'm a bayformer fan.

Just because they looked like that in the cartoons doesn't mean they must be the same now. No one in the first movie looked anything like their cartoon counterparts, except for Prime. So lets make Devastator look realistic instead. And by that I mean in the same style as all the other bots in the movie
