The sun news paper gave it top marks to today 5 dogs and the express and star gave it 9/10.
After watching the film tonight people in the theatre were saying how much better superman the movie was. I have to agree in some respect but I have to say I thought Bryan singer did a pretty good job on the cast expect for Perry white who was just so weak. I Have come to a conclusion on what made superman the movie so great and what lacks in superman returns.
First of all john Williams did an excellent job on the score and should of been brought back on board, the new movie score just didn't do the job, it just wasn't right for the movie it just didn't make me buzz and script just lacked the charm and the bonding of the original between the characters and thats what made the movie great. There were hints of this at times in superman returns but not enough. The story was ok but I just think the way it was edited and portrayed is what let the movie down. IF I had one wish that could come true please bring donner and williams back. Finally Im glad the man returns.
