You can't relate to the characters because you have no interest in hacing sex with girls :(

I can relate to the characters, but the movie doesn't make me care about them. There's lots of funny stuff in there, just nothing underneath. Like a Michael Bay movie, but the explosions are replaced with jokes.

And I don't appreciate your constant ridicule directed at my virginity. It's very disrespectful. You don't do this to WHF. :(

Especially *SPOILERS* seperating from your best bud.

either way, superbad and knocked up are the funniest movies ive seen in a long, long time.

I've moved past that, I now attack his gayness....but he doesn't care so it doesn't work :(

:HUGSIESTOERIK:

Best movie I've ever seen. Okay, maybe that was an exaggeration. Best comedy I've ever seen, though.

I loved when Evan was singing at the party. What song was he singing, by the way?

The Guess Who- These Eyes. I knew I heard it before, so I looked it up. Good song.

what?

This movie totally had heart, albeit it very subtle. The genius is in the complexity.

Complexity? This movie wasn't complex or intricate at all...you need to go rent some of the older "teens go to party" movies like cant hardly wait or fast times at ridgemont high.

Fast Times at Ridgemont High = Awesome

I can't take anyone that enjoys Can't Hardly Wait seriously. As much as i'd like to debate with you, i'm going to sit this one out, because, well -- not so much with the credibility.

best comedy of the summer......best scene was the mclovin/mohamed scene...too funny...

well Can't Hardly Wait did bring back teen comedies that were missing since the 80's.

actually, thats probly not a good thing. but it was enjoyable, and of course u shouldnt take it seriously.

same thing with American Pie, it brought back the teen sex comedy, which again, is actually a setback considering the crap it spawned up.

Your kidding right? And what was so bad about Can't Hardly Wait that you can't take folks who like it seriously? Well then again, you did find Superbad to be full of "complexity" when it couldn'y be any more simpler.

The first American Pie was pretty good and actually showed the reality, truthfulness and honesty of what sex is like at that age, both trying to get it and the actual act and feelings/emotions that come with it.

(And no I'm not talking about throwing it into an apple pie.)

Just watched the movie. Totally awesome. The best movie so far this year. Even better than Transformers. God damn, the whole movie was a cracker!

Can't Hardly Wait is a little underrated, albeit kind of cartoonish. Though the writers behind the Brady Bunch movie and Josie and the Pussycats wrote it, so it's not to much of a shocker.

lol. I liked Can't Hardly Wait. I've seen it at least three times.

i loved can't hardly wait.

i own it, and have seen it maybe 30 times.

and how does superbad not have anything underneath? i mean, it's not the matrix or anything, but as far as comedies go, it has more than enough going for it.

This came out in Aus yesterday and I saw it last night and I am so stoked that this was as sensational as I built it up to be, in my head and to my friends. An absolute classic. Michael Cera is the king of awkward comedy.
"Piece of **** ****ing phone, I swear I'm going to ***** slap you so ****ing hard"

"Like man dick?"

Classic

I'll most likely check it out during next weekend, can't wait!!!

It's like Dazed and Confused or a Kevin Smith movie, but it lacks that deeper quality that makes the aforementioned movies great. But it's still hilarious.

This film makes me wish life was more like the movies
