I got my first Covid shot. When do the superpowers kick in? All I've gotten so far is drowsiness, and I was already good at that.

i had my 2nd one on April 20th, go figure... Moderna... the first one I had bad side effects... elevated blood pressure.. my temperature went from normal to 94.9 to 103.9... all within half an hour... it was scary as all ****. I jumped in a cold shower and it was almost immediate... just gone like it never happened. from then on, not a single side effect... after my second, typical soreness from any shot.

ill be honest, i could feel each shot but they were by far the easiest ive ever had.

I got Pfizer. The shot just made me incredibly tired, and I woke up with a fair bit of pain in the arm. But that might have been my fault for sleeping on it. I'll see how the second shot goes when I get it in September.

I also got a sticker. They didn't offer one, I just insisted.

It's not unusual to have pain in your arm. I had the same thing and I'm pretty usual.

A friend of mine lives in Sweden and is always complaining about the price of produce and other food. He's from California so he's used to inexpensive, quality produce (and he's a chef.....graduated from the California Culinary Academy in SF). When I see $36/lb???, my eyes just kind of glaze over.....
