...this thread was just to hear other people's thoughts on the topic and to keep the thread Humorous. I thought my post would have given people the idea that it wasnt ment to be serious thread but sometimes people need thier hand held...

see, that's the problem - it's not a topic, it's just something you made up. so while we could all sit here discussing how Superman can't jump, there wouldn't be much of a point. why not start a thread entitled 'Superman isn't bulletproof'?

also, there's a difference between people needing their hand held, and a thread not being humorous to begin with.

Discovery had a special a week ago on the history of the superman. Everthing from comics to tv to big screen if you have discovery on demand you can see it at will. It was really Kick A$$. and as far as Snacky Smores if you have cable youve heard it before.

Uhmm, maybe Superman uses his super strength to compress his boots, cape and costume into a small pocket. Because his suit is kryptonian in material it can do that.

But woulndt it be wrinkled. And I can understand the cape maybe he tucks it in but com on the BOOTS He hides um up his super @$$...... If they showed him with the boots under his shoes i would be reasonable but to just have them appear come on.

It's always been that he wears the shoes and socks over the boots and he hides his suit in his cape when he changes to Superman.

Lol. But I want a pair of shoes like that. In highschool, I had to carry extra gym clothes, only if I had those damn boots............ Damn kyrptonians, they always get the good sh**.

"Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound" is from the early Silver Age, when Superman hadn't gotten the hang of breaking Earth's gravitational pull (and didn't have as much solar energy stored up, either) and couldn't fly. He could jump super-far, but wasn't a flying hero until a bit later.

As stated by others, his clothes go into a section of his cape.
