World Superman Lives!

The reason everyone thinks they would be ok with this is because it never happened.

If it had happened, people would still be furious. History shows Superman fans don't like it when the hue of blue on Superman's suit is changed.

I thought it was way over 66% funded... Might have a look in the next couple of weeks and see if I can contribute. :)

Q fr/@transfan681 would have Michael Keaton worn his old batsuit for #SupermanLives cameo or would he had a new bat suit?
"A (Answer)/ Old school."

Any chance of interviewing Michael Keaton about #SupermanLives ?
"A (Answer)/ TBA (To be announced)."

"Nicolas has not been confirmed yet. We are working very hard on getting him, but it is ultimately up to him whether he wants to be involved or not. We have no control over him or his choices. He is also a working actor, and just like Tim Burton and Kevin Smith and all our other interviewees, they have jobs and full schedules. We won't give up though. Nic's participation would make the film complete. We must all be patient and leave it up to him to decide."

I wonder when there'll be a firm release date for this bad boy rather than simply "2014"... we're rapidly running out of months.

If they'll have enough money to recreate some scenes then it's definitely Q1 2015 or maybe even later. And I agree even without those scenes 2014 seems quite unlikely now.

theatrical release late march / early april then VOD then the rest. And already have more than extra 9k so they'll be able to recreate some scenes.

from what he has said, he will only be able to recreate one scene with the extra money

I wish they would recreate scenes in comic book form.

Yeah, I saw his list of 8 scenes he'd like to recreate - between 3500-8500 each so they'll have to decide.

So they have enough money to recreate four or five scenes now... Guess we won't see the movie before april now.

Interview with screenwriter Dan Gilroy (The Bourne Legacy, Nightcrawler) confirmed and few more scheduled. But sounds like Q2 is more likely now: "Very excited to release this film next year, we are looking at early to mid 2015."

Bump. Is there still a place to donate, or are they done? All is quiet.

i hope they release this... i know there will be some angry fans who will want their money back if this doesnt get released

I'm sure it will get released its just taking longer than they'd planned but then again some things have worked out for them. I do wonder why he's bothering to recreate some scenes though. Wouldn't that cause some sort of legal issue aswell?

And this doc will be officially released: MAY 1st!!!

"Thanks you all for your patience in the process of making this intense feature film documentary. I am still working on it, and will be for February and March, as we lock picture, finish effects, complete the editing, and finalize the audio and music mix.

I will be releasing a commercial with all the information in the following week, so look for that as well."

About damn time, can't wait to see it.

What I want to know is will it be available to view on May 1st online or will we have to somehow get the DVD
