I bought the Clark Kent/Superman 6" today. I was extremely impressed! The articulation is simple and the head sculpt is a bit small and a bit off, but overall it's a great fig. It nicely complements the Batman Begins standard fig. Thoughts?

I got that one too, just to go with batman. I'm probably going to get the 12"
hyper articulated superman.

There's a 6" one? I had no idea.
If I get anything, it'll be those $12.99 McFarlane-style plastic statues, the one where he's flying past the Daily Planet globe. It's nifty.

Aw, crap. Anyone know if the Wizard World Chicago Bats exclusive is gonna be 6"? I hope, because otherwise I have to rummage for a different Batman begins color accurate fig. I compared Superman and Batman in Photoshop and they looked awesome together.

I prefer the DC Superheroes line to the Superman Returns line. Superman and Bizarro are if you ask me, the best renditions of those two characters around.

I still like DCDs from a few years back, but the new Bizarro is pretty *****in'

superman returns figs...ugh. glad someones enjoying them though.

I'm not saying they're absolutely amazing...
I was lucky enough to find a non-action-featured one, and it's alright.
Its a solid buy for $5.
Some of them are hideous, though, like the one where he super-blows a villain. :)

Yeah, that's one of the worst action features ever conceived. :down

Just the face, too. He is actually blowing. He's outwardly expressing the fact that he blows.

What about the one where he has wheels on his chest? :D

Are you ****ing serious?
My favorite Superman figure will always be the old Super Heroes one (after Super Powers) that had the magnet in his chest. He came with a little Kryptonite ring, and if you put the ring close enough to him, he'd fall over. :D
I still have the ring and the figure.

I have been collecting these things like a mad-man. I don't think they are that bad. So far I have bought;

Clark to Superman
Kryptonite Smash
Wall Busting
X-ray Alert
Super Breath
Flight Attack
Bullet Proof
Deluxe Heat Vision
Deluxe Mega Punch
Deluxe Flight Force
Truck Lifting Superman
14" Hyperposeable
Select Sculpt Metropolis Rising
Select Sculpt Invulnerable.

That kryptonite thing is a dang good idea. There's a Supes Returns fig where he's smashing through a big block of kryptonite, which doesn't make sense- wouldn't he be powerless? They should've done something more like that.

Newmex, did you get the kryptonite putty? That looked entertaining.

Yeah that's really dumb.
They all suck. :down

No I don't have any of the kryptonite stuff.

The old Toy Biz Superman? I had him. I also had the Joker with the squirt pump you could stick into his back to make his flower squirt water, the Riddler with all those riddle cards, Mr. Freeze who could change colors in the freezer, Lex Luthor with like a punching action, and I think the Penguin too.

Yeah I had all of those.
Luthor was so crappy, he had this stupid smile on his face and his "uppercut" usually resulted in his punching himself square in the jaw. :D
They also had Bob the Goon from Batman 89

Now THAT's a cool idea! I might have to make a custom of that...

Do it, but use REALLY strong magnets. That way, if you position it right, you can send Superman flying into your friend's face.

I don't think I ever had him, but come to think of it, I do recall having Batman with his utility belt that doubled as a zipline and a Robin who... uh... I think he had kicking action or something, right?

Robin had a karate chop.

Does anyone have any news on the Lois Lane figure? It was confirmed a while ago, wasn't it? Was it cancelled from the line? If so, why the hell does Marlon Brando get a figure when he only has one scene that was digitally added in?!?!

If anyone has any news, I would love to hear it. A Lois Lane figure would be a great toy to have. Superman's gotta save someone! Oh, and what about that henchmen that was pictured at Toy Fair?

Anyone have an answer???
