I'm buying both the Donner Superman II and SUperman Returns on release date, and then I'll pick up the Reeve boxset later on.

...And I want to get the Donner Cut as soon as it comes out! So what do I do now?![]()

The Ultimate edition is the one in the tin container here in US isnt it??
I just picked up Lois and Clark 4 and AD of Superman 4,5 dvd sets. My husband keeps teasing me he's putting the Ult Edition away for Christmas. (Not likely---LOL) I can wait til Nov 28 but barely.

The 13 disc set is out in a couple of weeks. I think releasing the Reeve boxset and then the uber boxset a few weeks after that is not on, as a lot of people are gonna buy the Reeve one without knowing that the mega set is to follow with Superman Returns included.captain_jimbo said:Yes, I'm from England and I have to get the Donner cut straight away, and seeing as the Christopher Reeve Collection is out tomorrow, it has to be that one!
...I just can't wait now!t:

Moviefan2k4 said:Pretty impressive, but I heard a rumor regarding the Region 1 version. Apparently, word is circulating random copies of the US release have contained the original DVD release of "Superman III", as opposed to the new version. Anybody able to verify this? The last thing I want is to buy this set, and discover an error like that...
mine contained the delux edition of S3,though i have yet to try it.Moviefan2k4 said:Pretty impressive, but I heard a rumor regarding the Region 1 version. packaging is fine, though not practical in a sense of,it is easier just to have them seperate rather than take the slip case out of the tin all the time.picture quality, well i have only watched SR.Trouble is it was filmed dark and my projector throws it up big so it does not seem the greatest of pics on my projector.<(o_o)> said:What site did you get it from so fast? Of what you've seen of the discs how is the picture & sound quality of the older movies? Now that you've got the set in your hands how would you rate it in terms of disc packaging?
Mandrill said:Yup that has been reported at a lot of places here for exampe.

Same problem here. It is the original release with only Cast & Crew listing and trailer as extras.johnsonuk said:mine contained the delux edition of S3,though i have yet to try it.
edit.i have just tried it and the superman 3 disc has printed on it THE DELUX EDITION but it is the original release
