Superman Video Game

Hey, that's what he'd like.

Me personally, I'd like full on AA-level detail and modernism, and I really like the idea of advancing from Golden Age Nu52-levels to pre-Flashpoint uberUBER levels over the course of the game. That sounds like a lot of fun.

What exactly is the difference between fighting robots and any other bad guy? I see people complain about robots all the time, and it doesnt make sense to me. Sure, level after level of hordes of robots would get repetitive, but so does fighting generic gangsters, or any of the mostly boring crap they have you do in open world Spider-man games. As a big Superman fan, I'd love to have a level where you fight the mechanical monsters from the 40's era cartoon. Or invading Brainiac drones.

Down the line, someone is going to do a video game and a movie version of Bats and Supes in their respective original eras. And I can't wait.

Maybe in some cel-shaded second tier Wii-ready game, i could see a fleicher cartoon and iron giant type motif robot baddie Superman game.

But usually, robots represent the developer not really trying, or at best, not having time to create compelling enemies. I'd much rather they work out a dozen really high-caliber boss fights.

Might be enough to get interest in a Superman video game franchise...

And they each character in this has their own fighting style too. it should give NRS some idea's if they do a sequel for injustice or DLC.

You know what I'd like? A Superman set in the 1940/50s. Even done in the style of those old Fleischer cartoons. I think that would be pretty sweet. Fighting giant cartoony robots and whacky mad scientists would be great.

This would be cool.

Man took me time to find this thread. and i didn't find by search cause was too much use of the word superman. oh well. Well it's not a console or pc title, but it's still a game

Hm..Maybe I'd get it on my tablet IF free

Every time I hear Superman Game I get PTSD flashbacks to Superman Returns on my old Xbox.

Can't play it, not a fan of touch screens

The more I play LEGO Batman 2, the more I think their style should be taken for a good Superman game; great flight controls, speed increase control, good power use, invulnerable to anything but kryptonite, and if they do make it free roam they should keep the different boroughs, but to a smaller scale like in LEGO Batman 2, not the extra large scale found in so many free roam games these days, I think it will be needless for a Superman game

I hate the flight controls in Lego Batman, they're really really terrible.

With a keyboard they work fine, really comfortable to control
Didn't try the gamepad on it

I wish they'd just make an awesome Superman sandbox game for ps3 :(

I'm glad they're not making a MoS tie in console game, but I would really love to see a Superman game in a full, open world Metropolis.

This. :yay:

If they did make it, I would prefer they not try for perfect photo-realism, and pursue a stylized look, like the developer did with Bioshock Infinite.
