Is it me or are they trying to channel Margot Kidder a bit with that Lois Lane design?

Supes looks like he should have Patrick Warburton's voice. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

So where's the dialogue and obligatory taglines in that trailer...?

It looks unfinished.

The DC Universe trailers are always horrible anyway.

yeah, that's a pretty horrible trailer.

i'm still excited for the movie though.

I couldn't track the back-issue down, is this in any trades??

I'm also hoping that it'll go on sale on Comixology. DC is usually good about synergizing their digital comics with other media, especially with those 99 cent sales.

?
I don't understand. The taglines and dialogue was in that one. There is one on YT without those, but the one on MTV.com has the things you said aren't there in your comment.

The trailer rules, IMO!

I think it looks awesome, I really wonder if they've gone for this action packed story to set us up for the next year with Man of Steel coming out and no doubt this time next year there'l be another Superman DTV to go along with MOS.

Wouldn't surprise me if that was the plan.

I think we are long overdue another Superman animated series.

We haven't been able to stick to a specific continuity in the media with Superman for at least 5 years.

I'm pretty sure someone at WB is already working on another animated series for Superman to coincide with MOS. Synergy and all that.

Could anyone rip the trailer (dialogue ver), please?

Yeah the trailer makes it look a bit silly, but I love the original story so I'm still looking forward to it :)

The DTV isn't even out yet, and yet, I hope that we can get a direct sequel out of this based on "Ending Battle". That would great to end the Elite arc, how it was done in the comics, on film. Before Superman Batman Apocalypse, I said this in regards to something like Superman Doomsday, only I was referring to the '90s Superman events rather than the Doomsday-only follow ups. Now, after Superman Batman Apocalypse, where a direct sequel have been made, this can be possible now.

I doubt any kind of sequel will happen for this...

The release date was earlier than I expected, so thats a pleasent surprise, but the special features seem lacking again.

Fluff featurettes and a commentary with someone no doubt not involved in the production.

I think it might be possible some of Ending Battle will be incorporated into this as they would need to make the script last 77 minutes.

Wow... I'm so excited for this. I've been wanting a Superman story that A) centers on Superman's humanity and morality and B) has great Superhero/Villain fights for literally years. This may be my favorite Superman story ever.

Oh and Pantro? I sure hope you're right about the Superman show, but I haven't been hearing anything about it--and that would have to come out next year, yes? They've already announced the new Batman show. Man, I'm tired of the only Superman on TV being a distant daddy figure (coughyoungjusticecough).
