Considering his role in Justified is over I wouldn't be surprised to see him return. Nect episode looks awesome! How much you want to bet Sam ends up having to save someone else and leave Bobby behind?
It's a pretty good chance it is Bobby. Even though it's just a quick flash of the back, it looks like he is wearing the same clothes as Bobby was when he died, a blue hat and green jacket.
And as for Adam he's in the cage, there's no way Sam would be able to get him. I mean Cas was only able to pull out Sam's mind and body. Right now Adam is on the list of story elements to use if they can think of a good idea, along with the Anti-Christ, Leviathan, dinosaurs, and an episode told form the point of view of a cat.
I hate that we get fillers just now, near the end!It was pretty much filler.
It is Bobby and looks like it's Crowley's fault.

Ahh, okay...I'd like for that to be explained then, haha.
Why did Sam mention burning his bones?
I don't understand it even more. We saw Bobby's Reaper in "Death's Door"...the cabbie Reaper looks nothing like him.
Anywho...
8x19 "Taxi Driver"
8x20 "Pac-Man Fever"
8x21 "The Great Escapist"
8x22 "Clip Show"
8x23 "Sacrifice" (SEASON FINALE!)
They probably did burn his bones just off screen.
Because they did do that. That's why they were surprised he was still a ghost when they found out.
I'm having a hard time understanding how this ghost reaper passing on thing works now. So now when you burn the remains a reaper comes to move the ghost along?
No, no, no, that's not what I meant...of course I am aware that Sam and Dean burned Bobby's bones as that's the usual case with a hunter, but the fact that Sam mentions that after hearing of Bobby being in Hell...that didn't make any sense.
I'm surprised CW hasn't considered doing a spin off of supernatural. Plenty of characters to choose from.
I don't really see why it doesn't make sense.
Sam mentioning burning Bobby's bones has no relevance to the Reaper saying Bobby's in Hell. That's my point.
I'm mostly having trouble with how Reapers can all of a sudden go to Hell now. Didn't Tessa say she never knows where a soul goes? I always assumed that's because the Reapers don't go to places like Hell or Heaven with the soul.
Honestly most of the dialogue in that clip is nonsensical. Why would the Reaper even admit to being the one that took Bobby to Hell? It's entirely out of left field. The Winchesters are famous throughout the paranormal world at this point.
A lot of it's just chatter to fulfill the scene's needs.
Well this Reaper mentions having "special skills" and Sam calls him a "coyote" (I think)... So he's obviously unique. He also seems to be corporeal, too, so he's certainly something different.
