SUPERNATURAL Season 8! - Part 1

Eh. It was enjoyable.

Considering his role in Justified is over I wouldn't be surprised to see him return. Nect episode looks awesome! How much you want to bet Sam ends up having to save someone else and leave Bobby behind?

The biggest flaw in this situation is Adam. He's stuck in Hell and is as innocent as they come to be trapped there, lol.

But, I suppose if it's indeed Bobby in Hell...that could really answer our question on what happens to a spirit, or at least when a spirit goes bad. That woman in "Of Grave Importance" that slept with Bobby, Sam and Dean didn't go bad and was probably sent to Heaven, and the same for Mary even. But even if gone bad, Bobby did want to go but I'm guessing it was too late and that's why he was sent to Hell.

It's a pretty good chance it is Bobby. Even though it's just a quick flash of the back, it looks like he is wearing the same clothes as Bobby was when he died, a blue hat and green jacket.

And as for Adam he's in the cage, there's no way Sam would be able to get him. I mean Cas was only able to pull out Sam's mind and body. Right now Adam is on the list of story elements to use if they can think of a good idea, along with the Anti-Christ, Leviathan, dinosaurs, and an episode told form the point of view of a cat.

Its definitely bobby, or his body/form. Could be a trick, but I freeze framed it and its jim beaver.

It was pretty much filler.
I hate that we get fillers just now, near the end!

Basically the main stories of SPN are like this:
Ep1: you get an idea of whats coming, who's the baddie etc.
Ep10: we get more info on the main story
Ep17-18: story progresses a bit
Ep23 or whatever is last: BOOM!

Too many fillers in between...

It is Bobby and looks like it's Crowley's fault.

I don't understand it even more. We saw Bobby's Reaper in "Death's Door"...the cabbie Reaper looks nothing like him.

Anywho...

8x19 "Taxi Driver"
8x20 "Pac-Man Fever"
8x21 "The Great Escapist"
8x22 "Clip Show"
8x23 "Sacrifice" (SEASON FINALE!)

Probably wasn't the same one. Bobby avoided that one and stayed on as a spirit. When they burned his flask, I'm assuming that's where this guy came into play.

Ahh, okay...I'd like for that to be explained then, haha.

Why did Sam mention burning his bones?

They probably did burn his bones just off screen.

Because they did do that. That's why they were surprised he was still a ghost when they found out.

Sacrifice...? I wonder if the final task is a sacrifice? Must be a serious sacrifice.

I'm having a hard time understanding how this ghost reaper passing on thing works now. So now when you burn the remains a reaper comes to move the ghost along?

And I enjoyed last night's episode. It was fun. I like Krissy and the others. I was hoping Dean was just being paranoid and nothing was actually wrong with Victor but ah well. Wish the kids had offed him though. He killed their families. To hell with that self righteous stuff. I'm gettin sick and tired of the boys not being able to make up their minds. As Hunters seeking vengeance they should have not had any problems with Krissy killing Victor, I'm sorry.

But the kids were cool. A spinoff would be nice (I found myself saying that alot this season) but they were fun characters. I could see CW pickin up something like that seeing as how they're starting to get interested in more horror/supernatural based shows. And it fits their teen demographic too. But that's just me.

There's got to be a big brawl coming soon. Or maybe the brothers are going to start their own men of letters/hunters club. They just keep getting more and more allies this season that seem like they wouldn't mind showing up to help in a pinch.

No, no, no, that's not what I meant...of course I am aware that Sam and Dean burned Bobby's bones as that's the usual case with a hunter, but the fact that Sam mentions that after hearing of Bobby being in Hell...that didn't make any sense.

I suppose so, but it might be intriguing that when a Reaper goes after a spirit, they're not all nice and polite as we've seen with Reapers such as Bobby's Reaper and Tessa. They could be furious at a spirit when they stay behind.

I'm mostly having trouble with how Reapers can all of a sudden go to Hell now. Didn't Tessa say she never knows where a soul goes? I always assumed that's because the Reapers don't go to places like Hell or Heaven with the soul.

I don't really see why it doesn't make sense.

I'm surprised CW hasn't considered doing a spin off of supernatural. Plenty of characters to choose from.

Hasn't the head people at the cw been known to despise supernatural? I know ostroff was.

They talked about doing a prequel set in the old west for a while, but nothing ever came of it.

They could do one with this group of kids and the werewolf chick from earlier in the season that literally served no purpose in the overarching story of the season.

Sam mentioning burning Bobby's bones has no relevance to the Reaper saying Bobby's in Hell. That's my point.

Honestly most of the dialogue in that clip is nonsensical. Why would the Reaper even admit to being the one that took Bobby to Hell? It's entirely out of left field. The Winchesters are famous throughout the paranormal world at this point.

A lot of it's just chatter to fulfill the scene's needs.

Well this Reaper mentions having "special skills" and Sam calls him a "coyote" (I think)... So he's obviously unique. He also seems to be corporeal, too, so he's certainly something different.

Yah, this too. That entire scene of dialogue felt a little forceful as if they were just trying to make a point of Bobby being in Hell, but instead, it raised more questions than anything, lol.

Ahh, good point. He did say he was overhead too for whatever that means. I should have got that with him being corporeal and what not, lol.

And he does say coyote...it seemed like, to me, they were trying to play parallels to US and Mexico with talking about coyote and the "border to Hell", lol.
