Great episode! One of the best this season if not the best. Meg was great. We got old Castiel back, more Naomi and a good send off. They're really goin Raiders this season like they said. I like the whole movie themes now starting with 6 and mystery noir, then 7 and Butch Cassidy. I wonder what 9 will be.

As soon as Meg started talking about "if we get through this" and started showing legitimate interest in Cas, it was obvious that she was going to kick the bucket.

All for the best, too, because there's no real way the show could have portrayed Sam and Dean legitimately forgiving her for what she'd done to them in the past.

Are we to assume that Castiel has, once again, gotten a hand from God? Naomi's spell broke completely and he took off running with the tablet, with a "keep it safe" command that even he didn't quite understand.

Great episode! One of the best this season if not the best. Meg was great. We got old Castiel back, more Naomi and a good send off. They're really goin Raiders this season like they said. Season six I definitely felt the mystery noir aspect when almost every episode didn't really "end" and had to be continued with the next and the mystery of who the real villain is when we went through the Campbells, Crowley(which we thought died), the Alphas and then Eve. But season seven...I never felt that Butch Cassidy idea Bob Singer mentioned. I think that's another thing why season seven is my least favorite...the season just never felt like it found its groove.

My first thought as well. God breaking the connection which gives Castiel a chance to run free with the angel tablet. That, or Metatron.

You'd think the show would go back to her, for sure... Actress may have been unavailable, I guess.

And seeing as how Tessa appears in season two, four and six...I thought it was natural she'd be in season eight, lol. I would at least enjoy a mention of her, though.

I still don't see how them forgiving her would have been necessary to keep her around. You're aloud to have shows where characters hate each other but work together because it's mutually beneficial.

I don't see how it could work nor what they were trying to pull in the first place with this "relationship" (see CAGED HEAT, seaon 6, ep10 - but then again, it was Season 6, a lot of things weren't right there.....)! I don't see Castiel falling in love with anyone, least of all if she is a demon and honestly it makes no sense that they would form some sort of a "couple' or just shag lol! But the whole scenes with them were funny I admit. Cass never got the chance to be the pizza man tho!

The whole season has been very good so far, I'm more interested in it than I was in the latest two seasons (6&7).

If it won't be explained otherwise, then we can only live with assumptions. If he did got a hand from God, it will not be mentioned, just like when (I ASSUME) Sam did in Season 5 when he took over his body after beating the c**p outta Dean!

The angel tablet as an inbuilt defence that causes any angel who touches it to automatically go into protection mode and protect the tablet from all who would use it. This command overwrote what Naomi did and explains why Cas wants to keep the tablet away from Dean.

Well, if the angel tablet locks the angels up in heaven, (like the demon tablet does with demons and hell) I can see why Cas wouldn't want Sam or Dean to have it. With all the angel trouble they've had, Cas might just assume they'd want to seal both gates.
