SUPERNATURAL Season 8! - Part 1

Could Sarah (from Season 1 Provenance) be returning? Actress recently tweeted this:

What could this mean? Since this is Supernatural, could she be the real deal? Also there's rumors that Amelia might be returning by the end of the season. What could this all mean? Catfight for Sam? Sarah is liked even by a major part of the female fanbase so maybe.....

Go Sarah if she has a cat fight with Amelia. Dean can just sit back & eat some pie & enjoy it

The things that could happen if Sarah and Amelia are both used to end this season...

Abadon will return for the finale as tweeted by the actress

Thanks y'all! All is well with me. Kids/fam are gr8. #Abadon is back... Check out the season 8 finale of #SPN

More on the last two episodes:

Supernatural fans may want to brush up on season 1 ahead of the show’s upcoming season 8 finale.
With four episodes left to go, executive producer Jeremy Carver tells EW that fans can expect several “blasts from the past” to appear in the final episode, including Sarah Blake (Taylor Cole), who we last saw in the 19th episode of the first season (the haunted painting-themed “Provenance”), and at least one more, who will come from even earlier in the show’s history.
“These blasts from the past are related to the trials and not in a very good way,” he teases. “I can tell you that if you think we’re going far back [in the show's history] with Sarah, keep going. We go back further than Sarah.”

Meanwhile, Carver dishes that the end of the current season will see some resolution to this season’s major arc, which in recent weeks has found Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) completing series of complex trials in order to close the gates of Hell. (Not up to date? Refresh with our recaps.)
“Inevitably, this is all leading to a big conclusion with Crowley,” he says. “I think we’re going to see Crowley rising to a new level of ruthlessness we haven’t seen before in order to defend himself and his kingdom, as it were.”
He adds: “I think we’re going to see Crowley presented with a new twist on things that will effect him forever, as well.”
The next new episode of Supernatural, titled “Pac-Man Fever,” airs April 24 on the CW. EW shared a First Look at the episode, which marks the return of Felicia Day’s Charlie, last week. See that photo here.

Before "Provenance"? How about Sam's potential love interest in "Hook Man"?

Seeing as how Sam may be seeing his potential love interests and what not.

And glad to see Abaddon return...perhaps this is Crowley's last chance in staying alive with killing off all the angels as well as Sam and Dean?

I'm kinda hoping they bring back Missouri Mosley. But there are bunch they could pick from, like: Becky from "Skin", Cassie from "Route 666", the family from "Wendigo", Amy Acker was in "Dead in the Water", or hell it could even be the Ghostfacers.

We're talking about blasts from the past that are Sam related though(as it's because of the Trials and what not). Besides the girl from "Skin", you're naming more Dean-related people.

It's not just Sam's love interests apparently:

Episode description for 8x22 Clip Show

FAMILIAR FACES RETURN AS THE THIRD TRIAL NEARS — Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) reunite with Castiel (Misha Collins). Digging through the Men of Letters’ files, they stumble upon an undiscovered film which could be the key to the third trial. Metatron (guest star Curtis Armstrong) enlists Cass to mull over problems at home. Meanwhile, Crowley (guest star Mark Sheppard) digs into Sam and Dean’s past. Taylor Cole, Graham Wardle, and Cindy Busby also guest star. Thomas J. Wright directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb (#822).

Graham Wardle played Tommy Collins in "Wendigo", so I guess that answers that.

And the other girl listed there was on the episode with James Marsters and Charisma Carpenter last season.

So what was Carver smoking when he said they were related to the Trials? Sounds more like Crowley's just trying to **** with the brothers than anything else, lol.

You don't know that.

They're related to the trials in that Sam and Dean are closing the Gates of Hell, and Crowley doesn't like that. So, maybe he decides to go after the people the Winchesters have saved over the years. Just a thought.

“These blasts from the past are related to the trials and not in a very good way,”

Sam is closing the gates of Hell. If anything, I would think there were going to be love interests from Sam's side to mess with him, but if you bring in the boy from "Wendigo" and then now Jenny from "Shut Up, Dr. Phil" that even makes less sense...it does not seem like it's really Trial-related.

Like I said above, maybe Crowley is going after the people Sam and Dean have saved. Because while Sam is technically the one going through the trials, Crowley has to contend with both Winchesters, because they are both involved in closing the Gates of Hell.

But again, it sounds more like Crowley's continuation of just messing with the Winchesters than it really having to do with the trials. Carver mentioning it had something to do with the trials made me think that something solely about Sam would happen. The description for "Clip Show" doesn't sound like that's the case.

Well then, we'll just have to wait and see. If Carver says they deal with the trials, I'm inclined to take his word on it.

PRE-FINALE EPISODES | Sam may look strong, but he's at his lowest point. "The further along in the trials, the worse he feels," previews executive producer Jeremy Carver. That "culminating" effect is "explored in more detail as we move forward." The tests also have another unexpected consequence: They're somehow related — and "not in a very good way" — to several blasts from the past, including the return of Taylor Cole's art gallery owner Sarah Blake. On the angel front, Cas is back with "protecting the tablet and Heaven very much at the forefront of his mind," while the Winchesters seek the help of Metatron (played by Moonlighting's Curtis Armstrong), the reclusive scribe of God. As for Sam and Dean, who didn't start the season on the same page but became united in their goal to close the gates of Hell, the brothers are "going to start to really ask themselves and deal with all sides of the question of, 'How far are you willing to go to get revenge?'"

MAY 15 SEASON FINALE | As the boys' quest and the mytharc escalates, "There are a lot of intersecting plots and personal motivations that are going to come to a head," teases Carver, adding that "several things will be changed forever." Could one new mythology element introduced this season, the Men of Letters, be a part of the finale? After all, it seems Abaddon is back. Plus, Carver tells TVLine, "We will absolutely see the positive and negative effects of being legacies." And yes, there will be "a few" cliffhangers, so prepare yourselves for a long summer.

Yeah I think those blasts from the past are related to the third trial in the sense that Crowley wants to stop them once and for all from closing the gates.

Crowley wants to stop them once and for all from closing the gates

The only way he stops them once & for all is by killing them & as we know not even dying stop those guys

I don't see how it doesn't seem trial related. We don't know what the trial is.

Seems random to bring back Abaddon but she was pretty badass. Like Lilith's big sister or something.
