SUPERNATURAL Season 8! - Part 1

Technically Castiel said his powers grow stronger with Lucifer walking the Earth, not that Lucifer walking the Earth gives him his powers.

His powers automatically started to get the attention of Sam and Dean, so it's more than logical to say they began once Lucifer escaped and then grow stronger while Lucifer walks free.

Which is why they shouldn't and wouldn't (among other reasons) bring the character back.

Then bringing the antiChrist back is even more stupid.

But to the audience, he's Lucifer. The one and only. Anything else is just second best.

And to the audience, nothing has been said of an angel/archangel having the ability to bring back a past vessel that's now dead. And to the same audience, they would know better that God wouldn't help out Lucifer in any way in bringing back his Plan B vessel.

The simplest way to bring back Lucifer, if it ever happened, is have Lucifer use Adam. Say Lucifer and Michael fought inside that cage until Luci became the victor and was able to jump into Adam.

Say, I wonder, how come they would fight for eternity when they basically have angel swords that can kill even Archangels (as we've seen in Hammer of the Gods ). I mean, isn't one of them supposed to kill the other easily, regardless if it's Michael who kills Lucifer or the other way around, sooner or later one would make a mistake and BOOM! He dies. But then again, it's not like we are updated about their situation, all we know is that they are locked, so there's a lot of room for interpretations. Maybe they don't even fight there anymore, since the BIG fight was supposed to be on Earth.

Also I find it funny how angels fought many wars yet not many, including Cass, knew about the fact that angel swords can kill angels (remember in Season 4 how Uriel tells Cass "the only thing that can kill an angel, is another angel"). I mean they sure had angels who rebelled and fought against each other. But meh, maybe I'm looking too much into, it's hard not to find any flaws in a tv show/movie, it's not like they can be perfect. But just for the sake of discussion...

Well, finale is tomorrow. Are we ready?
I have to admit I wasn't so pumped about a SPN finale ever since Season 5! Seasons 1-5 finales really kept my interest at 100%, Season 6 & 7 not that much though... dunno whether it was cause the seasons were the weakest or cause those finales were a bit more predictable that the usual.

It's finale night! Will the gates of Hell and Heaven be shut?

I certainly hope so. I'm hoping for the faeries as the big bad next season, mother. F***ing. Faeries.

Fight the Faeries!

I mean seriously, they could totally have Oberon try to fill the power vacuum after hell and possibly heaven are sealed. Maybe even get the alphas in on it. So basically what season 6 should have been.

Speaking of alphas. That vampire lied. Unless he decides to pop up tonight and tell Dean "I told you."

Watch that be the last scene. They finally shut the gates to hell, cas has locked up heaven for good. They're finally at peace, cut the alpha vamp preparing an army of vamps or some sh**.

You can look at this way, up until season four, angels haven't been allowed on Earth and it's not like any other being would have an angel sword. So in context it's kinda true, an angel is the only with the weapon to kill another angel.

Our first season finale without Bobby :(

I wonder if that's why they're bringing the Sheriff in

Weakest Road so Far to me. It was too quick. Whole thing felt rushed through.

Ugh. Just ugh.

I have no problem ending on a cliffhanger. We've done it countless times before. But man, I couldn't help but hate this ep.

Sam actually getting himself talked out of CLOSING THE GATES OF HELL is the series jumping the shark for me. These two have sacrificed themselves (or tried to) countless times before... And they drop the ball when they're about to win the game once and for all. Lame.

I'm not sure why you even watch this show anymore. If it's so bad, give it up. Seriously. All I see you do is complain.

Great finale but I will admit I'm sure Dean could've found a way to bring Sam back. They've done it before. But then again I'm chalking it up to the writers not wanting to tread the same waters with death/trapped somewhere. Which is cool. The last scene was amazing. THIS is a finale. Best one since 4. So many things left hanging. Cas's fate, Crowley, the angels, Metatron.....bring on season 9. I'm pretty sure Sam is gonna be kicking himself over the head for not closing the Gates.

wow, really not sure how i feel about them not actually closing the gates of hell.... i mean, Crowley is just sitting there...

LOVED the way the angels looked when they fell from the sky. gorgeous! and i loved the double cross from Metatron!
