SUPERNATURAL Season 8!

Does anyone think this may be the last season? I feel llike they are really trying to set up a last season. I don't know if it will be this one, but I feel lkke things are changing for the brothers.

This is the beginning for the final story but not the final season. They are looking at season 10 for that.

I wouldn't even call this the final story. Carver has season ten planned as his endgame, but who knows if season ten is really the end as we all thought the series would have ended on Kripke's run as well.

And theyve already said the show will continue as long as ratings stay up. So unless people get bored with it and they start bleeding viewers i dont see it ending til at least season 10.

8x05 description:

BENNY CALLS DEAN FOR HELP — After Benny (Ty Olsson) gets brutally beat up by some vampires, he calls Dean (Jensen Ackles) for help. Dean abruptly packs up and tells a confused Sam (Jared Padalecki) that he’s taking a “personal day.” Benny confesses that he’s going after his Maker (guest star Patrick Stafford) so Dean offers to help, flashing back on the many times Benny helped him and Castiel (Misha Collins) in Purgatory. Meanwhile, Sam (Jared Padalecki) uses his solo time to reflect on the life he left behind with Amelia (guest star Liane Balaban). However, when things go bad for Dean and Benny, Dean calls Sam for help, which makes everything very complicated. Guy Bee directed the episode written by Ben Edlund (#805).

Looks like it. He's the type to go custom.

First time we've ever seen Crowley's demon eyes, too.

I hope that Sam kept the hammer

Hope Sam kept Mjolnir. Would be straight up bad ass seeing him take out bad guys with it.

Highlight of the episode was "where'd you get the virgin blood?" It was an okay episode. Kevin's mom was great and so was Kevin. I hope they're okay.

If anyone needed clarification that Crowley was a demon, tonight was the confirmation with seeing the red eyes. And the red smoke....very, very cool. I wonder why it's red. Is that a special thing for a King of Hell? Maybe Azazel or Lilith weren't exactly considered a King or Queen and that's why their smoke was the regular black?

The whole fight for the tablet just seemed oddly paced. Did it seem that way to anyone else?

Otherwise, loved it.

At least they're finally addressing the fact that every Winchester ally... ever... has wound up dead. Even Dean couldn't deny that.

I think they'd just simply run out of time and had to wedge it in there for the sake of an action scene.

Best bit in the episode for me was Sam doing the reverse exorcism to stop the demon from escaping. That was pretty awesome.

I agree. The fight for the tablet felt a little flat to me considering it was so valuable. Yet, I LOVED the episode overall. When the show is good it's really good. I feel like my Wednesdays have just become really good for primetime. Arrow was a great lead too.

Crossroad demons have red eyes. Crowley was the king of the crossroad demons before he was the king of hell. That's why his eyes are red. Red smoke must come with the most powerful corrupted demons. Him being the king of hell i guess he fits that bill.

And if Dean ****ed Castiel over it may be a cold day in hell before i get back on his side.

I know that Crossroad Demons have red eyes, lol.

But, that brings up a pivotal point in the show's mythology...if powerful corrupted demons have red smoke...then why not Azazel or Lilith as I mentioned? Unless something else is going on here that hasn't been shown or mentioned yet on the series. Even Dean looked at the red smoke like something is a bit fishy.

Hopefully it will be addressed.

New PROMO PIC:

I wonder why Cass always has a black coat and blue shirt in these promo pics (remember the one from Season 6 as well?), but not in the show! I wonder why he never changed it in the show.

It's an old pic. Someone actually stole the coat from that season six promo shoot (along with Dean's leather jacket), and they got stuck with the black coat for the shoot.

I don't think the color has to do with power, just ranking. Azazel and Lilith and Alistair were all powerful but weren't Kings of Hell. Crowley however is. That's all the answer you need right there.
