Supreme Power

Well, if you know he's an idiot how come your asking us? Heh.

They moved Supreme Power from the MAX line, and rebooted it under Squadron Supreme, which now makes it a Marvel Knights book. Marvel Knights is that one step below the MAX line. No nudity or graphic violence shown, but there is still certainly a share of violence in the book.

Marvel made this decision hoping to gain a stronger readership to the book, instead of keeping it for adults only. George Clooney is a big actor and everything but he doesn't have enough pull to cause a comic book to change it's colors. Marvel could do a kick ass Nick Fury movie WITHOUT Bat-nipple Clooney.

thanks so much Spidey. I rather get my comic news from you guys rather then that guy....but when he told me that thing about my favorite book, well, I had to run to the Council (that's you guys).
Okay?

If we're considered the "Council" I'm definitely not a part of it. :O

But glad I could help you out. And I really hope George Clooney doesn't play Nick Fury, man that'd be stupid.

I'm looking forward to the Ultimate Universe/Supreme Power Universe Crossover to be called Ultimate Power.

Why not, the team is suspect but the concept is go to unify Marvels DC with Marvels most Modern Universe (which at times is the most like Marvels early 616 Universe), thereby creating two ongoing crossover Universes as some characters are to cross the other Universes and stay.

Why would I want the Supremeverse unifying with the Ultimate Universe?

I don't know. Why don't you tell us. :O :p

That's not exactly what's going to happen anyway.

I'd like to see sam jackson as nick fury. I always saw clooney as sam fisher anyway.

anyway, how many fights have the avengers had with SS? do SS ever win, or is it always the avengers who come out on top?

Hello Mate, lol that takes me back everytime I see it on these forums. The SHH thankfully don't realise what it means.

They're doing a Supreme/Ultimate crossover, that's news to me, when does it hit?

I see Greg Land is doing the pencils for the miniseries. If he does the work he's done on Utlimate F4 then the art alone is worth the price of admission. The only apprehension that I have about this miniseries is that Bendis is writing it...and I have this burning feeling in my gut that this thing is going to move so drastically slow or get bogged down by delays. I....just feel it. :O

Greg Land is my new most hated artist.

This is his process,

Looks for photo of actor in "good" pose.
Photoshop it.
Add emblems.
Put in background.
Publish.

I mean, his character designs on UFF are wildly inconsistant, poses ugly and static (one reason is because whenever Sue speaks it's taken from a porn video) and just plain rip-offs.

I mean, this guy is slowly taking over my hate for Liefeld.

Darthphere.....I'm thinking about deciding to replace the Liefeld hate with Land hate? Will you join me?

I find it hard now because Liefeld is a real nice guy, and in fact, I quite like him. (Not his art, but the man)

While Greg Land just looks like a dirty pervert who enjoys looking p poses for Sue Storm in pornos.

Eh, so. As long as it looks good, who cares if he "cheated" or whatever.

The man isnt original but his art sure looks pretty which is more than you can say about Liefeld.

It really doesn't look that great. Everything is stilted and awkward to me, with things not really looking like they fit together.

Yeah, the FF Zombies ripping flesh off of peoples bones must have been taken from a porno too.
