Yes, because villians always want their other members to be quickly killed...so they can then attack the hero one on one and suffer the same fate.

I don't think blackheart sees ghost rider as a threat at all which is why he just tosses him to the side when he reads the contract. The blackheart in the film seems to be young and cocky in a way which is why he doesn't just kill him if you ask me.

You know what would have been different? Had Blackheart NOT been defeated but simply sent back to Hell somehow where his father could keep him under wraps. Like a draw.
