GR has actually fought Thor before, in one of the issues in the Graphic Novel Ghost Rider Team-Up, in the last issue GR takes on the Avengers, with no Penance Stare and kicks their asses, he even catches Thor's hammer!

One match-up i'd like to see is Ghost Rider vs Venom.

i saw like two issues of Spirits of Vengeance at a comic shop, where Johnny Blaze and GR fight venom. there's also a series where vengeance and venom team up to take out some alien hunters.

I'd just like to see GR and Venom go at it full on, i think it would be awesome, though i also think GR would win.

I think in the Spirits of Venom crossover, Blaze's hellfire shot gun ripped the Symbiote from the hosts body.

And whoever suggested Gr vs Darkseid, thats a bit of an unfair match-up as Darkseid is the much more powerful IMO. I wonder coud the Omega effect erase GR from existence though?

nahhh no way. GR is part of existence in his role as the spirit of vengeance. just like the universe needs galactus alive to do what he does on a regular basis.

oh and i found that pic off ebay. someones selling the two issues of Ghost Rider Blaze:Spirits of Vengeance that have venom in em. so just go to ebay n search spirits of venom comics and itll pop up. and theres only one person selling em. pretty cheap too. lucky for me i know a comic shop that has em. hopefully no ones bought em yet.

if GR n Silver Surfer got in a fight. i dont mean for this to be a VS. thread to discuss who thinks would win. i just think itd be cool if the two of em fought. like whether it was in the comics or a cartoon or even in a movie. itd be mad cool. a epic battle between the spirit of vengeance and the sentinel of the spaceways.

GR n SS would go at it in nyc. GR riding up or down the side of a building chasing after SS or vice versa. hellfire against the power cosmic blasts. GR catching SS with his chain n SS flys straight up taking GR with him, but GR gets a hold of him n they duke it out n wind up falling straight back down. thered be dust n crap everywhere n itd clear to show both of em standing about to attack each other. SS has his board hit GR from behind, then it shows SS on his board about to shoot some cosmic blasts. but GR has his bike run into SS knocking him off his board.

i dunno whod wind up winning if anyone would at all, but thats kinda what id like to see in a Ghost Rider/Silver Surfer fight.

I'm not so sure CS, the Omega Effect is pretty much unstoppable, as far as i know Darkseid can erase anyone from existence that he chooses, no matter how important to the universe they are. As far as i know, only the anti-life equation can stop the Omega Effect.

Not too mention Darkseid must be 20 times as strong as GR.

bahs. we shouldnt get into this,haha. comics is kinda like religion. a lot of it is yer opinion. even if darkseid's omega beams could destroy GR or ANYthing from existence, itd never happen. least not in the world of comics and cartoons. if the OB's could do that darkseid would have used em on supes and orion long ago. also, if he did use em on supes, orion, or GR. thered be some way of getting them back from beign erased. cause thats how comics works.

id like to see the venom symbiot on the 90s rider. with the big white venom spider symbol on GR's jacket and have his gloves have the white venom web shoot thingy. also have GR's skull all venomish. like have all his teeth sharpened, have his eye sockets more shaped like venom's and also gotta have a fiery tongue.OH! i just thought of something wicked awesome. instead of fiery webbing coming out of the back of his hands, have them be chains.although, fiery webbing is a cool thing to picture.

No you dont understand, Darkseid's OB's CAN erase ANYTHING from existence he wishes, but he wont do it to Superman or Orion because he wants to break them and embarrass them before erasing them, he wants to see them on their knees begging, thats why he hasnt done it to Supes' or Orion.

Darkseid is a god though isnt he? I know in 'Our Worlds At War' Wonder Woman called him one. So, i'm not sure if he does have soul or not. But yeah, i figured that is the only way GR would beat him, as Darkseid has inflicted a lot of pain on others.

I would want to see Ghost Rider take on Docter Doom one on one. He took out dom when he was in the Champions with a hellfire blast right in his mask, but seeing him and Doom in a situation by themselves would be cool

Are you talking about comic book Doom or movie Doom? CB Doom wouldnt stand a chance in a physical confrontation with GR, movie Doom would give him a bit of a fight, but would still lose IMO.

The difference's are pretty big, movie Doom has Superhuman strength, endurance and is able to shoot lightning bolts from his hands. CB Doom is just a human in a suit of armour with a brilliant mind. CB Doom has been known to shoot magic bolts out of his hands, but its not something he does regularly.
