Tartakovsky really does have a unique style in the way he directs - it's unmistakable.

I enjoyed the pilot - kept my attention and had a pretty interesting plotline. I'll keep watching and see where things go. I've always been a Tartakovsky fan, and like you said, it really does have a Samurai Jack feel to it.

I really liked it. The animation art took a little getting used to but the story and the cool action sequences had my focus.

It was awesome.

Art is like a combo of Samurai Jack and PP Girls.

The stuff about the high school culture was spot on and the scene where Lance refuses to introduce himself to the class in that "loner/too cool for this ****" way was pretty funny. Just the way that those two girls immediately perked up.
