Tales From The Crypt reboot coming to TNT!

I'm excited. This is my all time favorite anything whether it's comics, movies, music there's nothing more important to me in terms of entertainment than Tales from the Crypt. I remember Monster Vision when I was younger on TNT, so they had a soft spot for horror. Love the show. Hopefully John Kassir's still going to voice the Crypt Keeper. You can find great deals on the show on DVD. I have them all and never spent more than $20, sometimes you'd get two seasons for under $20, mainly the later ones, because they were okay, but still good enough to check out for sure. Would prefer it to be on HBO though.

Guess it's still up in the air about Kassir, but the Cryptkeeper puppet is HBO's property.

He's just heard the news about the new series as well, but he's said he want to come back with the same puppet and puppeteers and that the Crypt Keeper should host TNT's entire horror block.

I see you left M. Night "It's a twist!" Shyamalan out of the title. For good reason.

Being on TNT it won't get the gorier treatment it did on HBO but it might still get some good scares in. TNT isn't as fickle with the censoring as some of the other networks are.

I heard about this a while ago and was on board until I found out that the Crypt Keeper wouldn't be a part of the show.

After uncertainty about whether the new series would feature the famed Crypt Keeper from the original EC Comics series, TNT confirmed that its incarnation will indeed feature a "newly reinvented" Crypt Keeper.

So the news is it's a one story series and they can't use the classic crypt keeper puppet yeah im not interested.

I know the comics were different and had a more human keeper but the look and puppet have become iconic for the show

I want this to happen so much. Even with a new Cryptkeeper. I'm not gonna lie though, if they figured out a way to get the rights to the HBO Cryptkeeper and theme song I'd be even more hyped.
